About Cripps Farm Caravan Park

This landscaped park enjoys a peaceful setting on the Somerset Levels. The site is perfectly located for days of exploring too, with the coast and Burnham-on-Sea only 15 minutes away, plus the attractions of Cheddar, Glastonbury and Bridgwater within 30 minutes too. For trailer tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes there are a handful of fully serviced hardstanding pitches on offer. Each comes with a 16 amp electric, water and drainage hook up, along with access to a chemical disposal point. The two paddock pitches are family friendly, set just behind the riverside pitches. The riverside pitches are adult only and enjoy wonderful waterside views over the Cripps River. For those looking to stay long term, there are seasonal pitches, along with lodges and static caravans. If you are a keen fisherman, the site offers two well-stocked fishing lakes available at a small extra cost. You can expect to catch anything from ghost carp to bream, perch, roach and trench up to 8lb in weight! Evenings onsite can also be best spent enjoying a delicious BBQ, as long as it is raised above the ground. Please note, open fires are not permitted. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay, with up to three permitted per pitch.

Cripps Farm Caravan Park is open all year round in 2024 and 2025.

A note from the site themselves...

The Harris family took over this 56 acre dairy farm back in 1986. The site was farmed up until 1999 when there was an unfortunate decline in the dairy industry.

By this time, luckily, we had already established the site. The Mendip Lake was dug in 2000 when we built the static site and the Quantock Lake was dug in 2004. We have continued to expand since and are always looking to make improvements. We hope to have the chance to welcome you soon, Leah

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Paddock)Jun 2024

Very clean and tidy and well priced. Quite expensive extra cost for Broadband, almost an essential these days. Great location for Wells and North Somerset coast and also, the RSPB and Avalon Marshes.

Nice park

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Riverside)Jul 2023

Outstanding stay at this beautiful park. It was by the river and surrounded by trees. Beautifully kept site with lakes nearby too. A fisherman's paradise I imagine. The only slight negative was that the showers cost 50p. Not a problem if you are aware but we weren't. The shower/toilet facilities were spotless. Lots of information was available and the book exchange and games were a bonus.
