About Cobleland Campsite
Situated on the banks of the River Forth, this picturesque, family-friendly camping offers an idyllic base for exploring Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The site has over 14 acres of woodland and river meadow, with wonderful walking trails, cycling routes and fishing spots all around. The site's 126 pitches are set across a large open meadow area dotted with trees, great for shade in the summer months, along with a woodland area set across three gently sloping terraced levels. The site welcomes tents, trailer tents, caravans and motorhomes across a range of grass and hardstanding pitches, with the option of opting for a 16 amp electric hookup. Each pitch allows up to eight guests, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy peace and quiet. For glampers, there are also four safari tents, each sleeping either four adults or two adults and three children. All of the tents are fully furnished with a double bed, triple bunk bed and a kitchen with an electric hob. Crockery, cutlery and a toaster also provided. Outside each safari tent, there is a decked area with a fire pit for nights in the open. Bedding and towels can be added to your booking for an extra charge and shared facilities are nearby. One safari tent is pet friendly, sorry, the rest do not allow pets, one also has features to provide accessible access. Guests will also have direct access to two walks and an off road cycle path leading you to the national network and in to the wider Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and beyond. Portable BBQs are allowed onsite, so don't forget to pack your burgers and sausages. Four-legged friends are also welcome onsite so no member of the family needs to be left behind!
Cobleland Campsite is open from 01/03 to 30/11 in 2024 and 2025.

Keen fishermen will have plenty of spots to choose from including the Lake of Menteith, just five minutes away where you can hire your own fishing boat to take out for the day.
Aberfoyle is a short five minute drive away, where you will also find Go Ape. Here you can tackle a treetop adventure, enjoy a race down a zip line, ride through the forest on a Segway and much more!
For soaking up some of Scotland's fascinating history, the famous Stirling Castle is just a 30 minute drive away. The 12th century castle is full of wonderful artefacts, exhibitions and a Palace Vault where kids can get involved with interactive characters.
