We've just arrived home after a two night stay at the site, using the touring section of the park. What a great little site, well positioned with great views. A short walk to the beautiful beaches, crossing the golf course. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The washing and cleaning facilities were first class, a bit windy for crazy golf this time, but we will be back for a shot.

This is a lovely site. From the welcome when you arrive to the spacious pitches, everything works. 8 amazing clean bathrooms, each with a shower, loo and sink, laundry facilities, mini-golf etc. It's all really well looked after and very clean.
Wonderful camping trip

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The tent pitches are lovely and spacious. We also stayed in one of the wooden Wigwams too - very spacious and comfortable. The facilities are great, we loved the addition of the free to use mini golf. 10/10 would stay again.

Toilets and showers were spotless. Everything was provided for washing up, scourer, liquid etc. This is not often something you see. Site is well done, staff were very helpful always on site if we needed them. We enjoyed our stay. Took advantage of going to a festival near by and also a restaurant just along the road. Highly recommended, we will be back x
Will visit again

Booked last minute and hadn't been to Machrihanish before, enjoyed the drive round from Glasgow and wasn't disappointed with the location. The facilities were great and clean and the staff were really helpful. Loved the mobile pizza van that came in as well!
Wonderful campsite!

Unfortunately, we were only at this wonderful campsite for one night. The staff were very friendly. The sanitary facilities were super clean. We felt very comfortable.

Spotless facilities, really quiet site. Walk down to the beach. The weather was wild when I was there, so stayed tucked away in the van. Wild bird observatory 6 min drive down the road worth a visit.
A beautifully positioned campsite

A lovely quiet site with a mix of static holiday homes and touring vans. The site was very quiet, considering how many units appeared to be on site. I liked that the toilet/shower was a combined room - the space was appreciated. The shower room was clean and comfortable and the water was lovely and hot. We enjoyed playing a couple of (free) games of crazy golf! The staff were friendly and informative of the area surrounding the site. A 10 minute walk to a deserted beach next to the golf club. It was one of our special memories, sitting on this beach watching the sunset with the Paps of Jura in the background. Beautiful. Easy cycle into Cambeltown.

Great site in a lovely location. On arrival, very friendly and helpful and they take you to your allocated pitch. The whole site is very well looked after and the dog walks are pretty. The toilet and shower rooms are specious, clean and always had hot water. There is mini golf, just grab a club and balls and play away. There are also slates to put your BBQ on and picnic benches. The only thing, and it's not the sites fault, is the wind. It's not windy all the time, but with its coastline location, it can pick up. If you are in a tent, I recommend bringing storm proof guy lines.

Lovely location with a warm welcome and excellent facilities, felt very safe. A very nice modern shower and toilet block with individual rooms which was very useful. There is a lovely pub with great food within a 10 minute walk with incredible views over the golf course and Machrihanish beach.

Excellent site. Beautifully located. First class facilities (although hot water in showers can be a little erratic). Very clean and well kept. Staff very, very courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

Showers were very good, but the water temp was not consistent. Although overall still good.

Stayed here for two nights and would loved to have stayed more, but we had an itinerary to stick to. The site is lovely and well maintained. Showers and toilets are spotless and provide everything you need. Staff are ultra friendly and it is an easy walk into Machrihanish to enjoy a drink and good food. We ate at the old clubhouse, which is a lovely spot. It is easy to visit the rest of the Mull of Kintyre or to play golf at either Machrihanish or at the considerably cheaper but equally beautiful, Dunaverty course at Southend. For those who don't golf as such, there is a mini golf on site which is fun and a nice touch. There is also a kids area as well as the beach and the site is dog friendly. We really enjoyed our time here and were sad to leave.

Lovely welcome didn't get ladies name but very pleasant. Very good showers and toilets. Good local old club house 10-15min walk. Food looked good and house red was very palatable. No local shop and a bit remote but would recommend.

Lovely location, on checking in we were offered a option of pitches, grass and hardstanding. Short walk to access miles of beach, ideal for our two dogs. Pub in village. Weather was changeable when we were there, but it was still enjoyable.

Upon arrival, I was greeted to a warm and friendly welcome from the lady at reception (positive her name was Lorna) she went out her way to find out if the pub had opened for meals for the season down in the village, so that we didn't have to drive back to Campbeltown. It's a pretty small site, so if it's peace and quiet you're looking for, then you will definitely get it here. The toilets are the cleanest and warmest I've ever used on a site and each one has a shower unit and hand basin. There is no on site restaurant, so you'll either have to take the 15 minute walk down to the old club house (you'll get a cracking burger), or 5/6 mile drive back to Campbeltown. Site has Wi-Fi but it's only free for the 1st hour per device then it costs. However, phone and data signal is decent. There is also a little crazy golf course for the kids.
