Highburn House Caravan Park is a family run park set on a small working farm. The park is scenically situated with a central running stream and beautiful panoramic views overlooking the Cheviot Hills and valleys. Centrally located, it's within easy reach of Harry Potter's Alnwick Castle, Holy Island, and the magnificent Bamburgh Castle and beach, Seahouses and the bustling market town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
About Highburn House Caravan Park
At the foot of the Cheviot Hills, the park is a convenient short walk (1/4 mile) from the main shopping area of the market town, Wooler. Family run, it caters for couples or families and also attracts many hill walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. It's also only 10 miles from Scotland, should you wish to venture across the border. Relax in a spacious area for campers, motorhomes and tourers, with or without electric. The pitching area is partly bordered with trees but still with wonderful views over the valley.

Site rules and policies
* As we are a family orientated park, we do not allow groups of more than two units together on the park.
* As pet owners ourselves, we welcome your dogs, however do require them to be on leads and kept under control at all times.
* We do not allow open campfires, although we do welcome BBQ's as long as they are raised off the ground.
* Please no noise after 10pm, we would like you to respect your fellow campers.
Things to do on site and in the Wooler area
There are also open areas where ball games can be enjoyed or you can simply sit and relax having a BBQ.
Within 5 miles of the park, there is a golf course, tennis courts, bowling green, pony trekking, rock climbing, fishing, the gliding club, Heatherslaw light railway and watermill and the Chillingham Wild Cattle.
For those wanting to venture slightly further afield, Northumberland has a huge varied landscape, ranging from the splendour of the Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park, which is a walker's paradise, to probably the best coastline in Britain with its small, quaint fishing ports and beautiful sandy beaches.
Numerous castles like Alnwick Castle, Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle are perfect for history buffs. Don't miss historic houses like Cragside near Rothbury and the splendid gardens at Alnwick. Why not just jump in your car and drive the quiet country lanes and make your own adventure!
