Fishing is the order of the day on site, but once you branch out, you'll find a lot more to explore in the area.
Leicester has long been known for its Roman history, but it's also made headlines in recent years as the place where King Richard III was buried - and discovered in modern times. The story of how his mystery was uncovered and his DNA matched is told in the fascinating King Richard III Visitor Centre.
Lutterworth is where the first jet engine was created and you'll find plenty of intriguing history in Lutterworth Museum. But, if you're more of a sport fan, it's also a short way over to Leicester with its packed stadiums and very popular football team.
Don't miss The Kilworth House Theatre which offers incredible open air shows that you'll love. The setting is just part of the fun at this theatre, where you'll be treated to a host of great plays.
