About Quex Holiday Park
The park sits close to the village of Birchington-on-Sea, which is just a 30 minute stroll away and offers handy public transport that will take you to attractions further afield. Well maintained and presented, the park is a peaceful and blissfully relaxing base for exploring the Isle of Thanet. Quex's 50 pitches offer a choice of classic pitches which are non electric and set on grass, alongside premium pitches which include electric and are available on both grass and a limited number of hardstanding bases. A canopy of trees provides pleasant shade over a number of pitches. Group bookings, from couples travelling together or groups of family members, are welcome.
The park is open from mid February until early December.

Site rules and policies
Quex holiday Park Summary of Touring Rules
1. Should you fail to arrive on your initial date without prior notification, the park reserve the right to reallocate
your plot by noon the following day and your payment will be non-refundable.
2. All children must be supervised when using the parks facilities.
3. Children on cycles, skateboards, rollerblades etc must be supervised at all times.
4. We only allow clip on washing racks to be used on the park.
5. Ball games are not allowed between the caravans.
6. Please refrain from playing loud music to the annoyance of others, or after 10.00pm.
7. Barbecues are welcome, but must be raised from the ground.
8. Please keep your pet on its lead and do not allow it to foul the park. Only one pet is allowed unless prior
approval is granted.
9. Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon unless by prior arrangement with the office.
10. Bicycles should not be ridden continuously around the park to the annoyance of other park users.
11. Other than authorized trades people commercial vehicles are not permitted on the park.
Things to do on site and in the Birchington-on-Sea area
If you love a day by the sea, this is the spot for you with pretty fishing harbours, retro seaside fun and delightful sandy beaches all in range of a 15 minute or so drive.
In the area, you can also play a round of golf, hop off on a horse riding session, or get your wheels spinning on the Viking Coastal Trail - which includes views of Botany Bay and stretches over more than 30 glorious miles. The beach at Birchington, Minnis Bay, includes its own sandy beachfront, which is Blue Flag award winning and great for sailing breaks.
See the varied exhibits at Powell-Cotton Museum, a perfect choice for families with a set of beautiful gardens. Quex Park House itself has an incredible history and is home to events, exhibitions, an activity centre and a splendid estate.
