The True Lovers Knot campsite is set in the beautiful Tarrant Valley, surrounded by stunning Dorset countryside, and with great facilities for a smaller site. There is an added benefit of having a public house on site, which serves excellent locally-sourced, home-cooked meals and specialises in a large gluten-free menu.
About True Lovers Knot
Situated in an area that's perfect for walkers, and close to the well-preserved Georgian market town of Blandford and the Tarrant Rushton airfield. You can walk for miles here, with stunning scenery. There are ten hardstanding pitches in addition to a level grass area. Caravans, motorhomes and tents are welcome for single night stays or longer. Children and dogs are also welcome throughout the site, in the pub, and in the garden.
The campsite is open all year round, and although the pub is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, you are still welcome to use the campsite on these two days and the facilities will be available as normal.

Site rules and policies
The site asks all campsite guests to respect other campers at all times, to keep noise to a minimum at night and to keep rubbish cleared.
You are able to arrive after midday and check out is due by 11am.
On arrival, the site asks guests to come to the pub in order to be shown where to pitch up.
Things to do on site and in the Blandford Forum area
The site is close to the well-preserved Georgian market town on Blandford which is 4 miles away, or Wimborne 6 miles away.
Local attractions include the National Trust Kingston Lacey House 5 miles away, Lamar Tree, Corfe Castle, Poole and Bournemouth all less than half an hour drive away, and stunning beaches at Bournemouth and the Purbecks including Swanage, Lulworh Cove, and Durdle Door, all definitely worth a visit.
Surrounded by lovely countryside, there are plenty of walks on offer for different abilities. The site also run a bike hire business so have bikes for all ages including children, with all the accessories you could require. They can even provide freshly prepared picnics to take with you!
The True Lovers Knot has a large garden with play area for children, and serves great locally-sourced home-cooked for to order. They specialise in catering for all dietary requirements particularly coeliacs with over 95% of the menu being gluten-free.
