The site is located on the edge of the Peak District, in a peaceful area of the countryside with great views. Enjoy the calm atmosphere and take advantage of the surroundings, which include both the beauty of the National Park and nearby amenities in Chesterfield. Pitches are available in grassy, sheltered fields surrounded by trees to suit both tent campers and tourers with caravans, campervans and trailers tents. Optional electric hook ups are available for both tent campers and tourers.

There is a footpath that runs along side the campsite and a bridle path at the back of the farm which is great for a walk through nature.

The site is only 15 minutes by car from Chesterfield town centre where guests can shop for anything they need, try out some great restaurants and then take on the most popular attractions for holidaymakers. Just 10 minutes' walk from the site there is a bus service offering easy access to Chesterfield.

Spend the day at Chatsworth House, an extremely popular lavish stately home with noted art collection, that has a playground, farmyard and garden for visitors to explore. The views are incredible and guests can paddle in the garden's shallow pools on hot days.

Next up, it would be unforgivable not to try a Bakewell pudding in the place that invented the famous treat, just 10 minutes from where you're staying.

Slightly further afield, is Hardwick Hall, an Elizabethan country house and a peaceful place for a walk and a bite to eat with a very nice tea room.

For a day getting active in the fresh air, you couldn't do better than take on Curbar Edge. Walking and climbing there provides you with amazing scenery and and on hot days you'll catch an ice cream truck.

Linacre Reservoirs are another beautiful place great for a peaceful nature filled walk.
