This peaceful, back to basics campsite is perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with nature, just ten minutes from the town of Bakewell. There are grass pitches, none of which have electric and are suitable for tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. Switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy this Peak District retreat, a lovely choice for families, groups or solo travellers. Dogs are welcome but please keep them on the lead at all times. There's plenty of nearby countryside in which they can roam free though. Fire pits are allowed to achieve that authentic camping vibe, and you can buy fire wood onsite.

Bakewell is just ten minutes away and here you'll find a couple of shops and supermarkets for basic supplies. Award winning pub the Lathkil is just a mile away and is lovely for an evening meal.

This Peak District retreat is the perfect spot for nature lovers. Chatsworth House is just a 20 minute drive away and has a breathtaking painted hall as well as spectacular gardens.

Haddon Hall is a great visit for history lovers just 15 minutes down the road, it has a medieval park which you can venture through on a guided tour.
