Just five minutes outside of Pickering, Barker Stakes Farm offers guests an ideal, family friendly glamping getaway in the Yorkshire countryside. Each of the ensuite pods can sleep up to four, kitted out with all of the essentials including a kitchenette, proper beds, WiFi and an outdoor patio. There are also play areas and farm animals for the little ones. Flamingo Land Resort and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway are within ten minutes too!

An absolute must for a family staycation! The location, the onsite facilities, the views! From the friendly owners, the animals, the play parks, the vast fields for playing/walking. Not forgetting the glamping pod; clean and comfortable with everything you could need provided, there's absolutely nothing we could fault. We can't wait to come back! Would highly recommend to anyone!

The pod was very spacious for me and my son, only me and my 6 year old son stayed at the pod. The 2 parks that are located on site are brilliant for kids and my little boy spent hours playing with other kids on site. As soon as we arrived we were met by Steve who showed us to our pod and gave us a bbq table for our disposable bbq. Very friendly guy and helpful. We went on a little walks throughout the 2 days we were there. Very quiet little place and nice and peaceful walks with a little bit of wild life we spotted along the walks. My little boy was happy with the amount of animals on site, he did especially like the pigs and llamas. We went for a day out in Scarborough and went to the aqua park which was about a 30 mins drive. Which was a really good day out. Then second day we spent out in Pickering which is a 10 minute drive away. All in all I'd recommend the pods and would happily stay in here again.

Glamping pod was so cute and had everything we needed! It was a lot more luxurious than we expected! Kids loved the farm loads to do to keep them entertained. We will definitely be back. x
