Acorn Meadow is a peaceful camping and glamping site in the heart of the Norfolk countryside. With a popular pub a ten minute walk away and some fantastic surrounding walks, your stay here is sure to be relaxing. Guests can choose between electric and non electric grass pitches, suitable for tents only. Or for those after a little more luxury, there is a cosy glamping pod with its own kitchen area and ensuite bathroom! Dogs are welcome.

About the site
Whether you're hoping to take on the Pingo Trail, enjoy a bike ride round through the Thetford Forest, or explore the bustling city of Norwich, this dog and family friendly site is a great base for all your Norfolk adventures! There are ten non electric grass pitches for guests to choose from and six grass pitches with access to a 16 amp electric hookup. These measure 7m x 7m, are suitable for tents and roof tents only and have space for you to park at your pitch. Trailer tents are not permitted. If you're looking to explore the outdoors in style, the site has one ensuite glamping pod (measuring 3m x 9m). This cosy heated pod sleeps up to four guests with a double bed and sofa bed. There is an additional charge if more than two people are staying. The beds will be made up for your arrival, but please make sure to bring your own towels along. Inside you will find a small kitchen area with a kettle, air fryer, microwave, toaster, sink, and fridge. There is also an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink. Outside there is also a decking area for guests hoping to enjoy an evening tipple outdoors! This site is great for those looking for a laidback breakaway, with a local pub just a ten minute walk from the site. This site is also ideal for kids with Melsop Farm Park a 15 minute drive and Banham Zoo 25 minutes away! If you're hoping to bring your pup along, up to two dogs are allowed on the grass pitches and one dog is allowed in the glamping pod. For those after dinner al fresco, BBQs are permitted please just ensure they are raised off the ground. Open fires are not allowed.
The grass pitches are available on weekends from 1st March to 1st October. The pods are open all year round.

Site rules and policies
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.
Commercial vehicles are not permitted on site.
Fires and BBQs will not be permitted in dry, windy and hot weather conditions.

This site is ideal for those looking to get outside and enjoy some local walks, with Thompson Water just a 25 minute walk away and the Pingo Trail within a 30 minute walk from the site! Thetford Forest is also just 20 minutes away.
If you're hoping to explore the local area, the quaint market town of Thetford is just a 20 minute drive, while the bustling city of Norwich is just a 40 minute drive away. Or, if you're hoping to explore the seaside, Great Yarmouth is one hour from the site.
If you're looking for something to keep the little ones entertained, why not head to Melsop Farm Park (15 minutes) or visit the animals of Banham Zoo (25 minutes).
