Came for a weekend with my girlfriend and cannot recommend this place enough!! We both really enjoyed ourselves. The hot tub was amazing and really easy to use and reheat. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Julie was very friendly and made us feel welcome, showed us how to use the hot tub and gave us the jist of things. The area was beautiful and very peaceful. Really cant recommend enough. We are already looking at coming back next year!

Lovely stay

We wanted to be near tintagel and Bodmin moor. It was perfect. Just the right size for me my wife and dog. It was warm as there were a few cool days. We cooked in it and it had WiFi so we could watch tv in the evenings. We are thinking of using wigam holidays again when we go to a different location as the pods were just right for us

Amazing stay

After a short stay we have left feeling so refreshed. Everything was so clean and perfect, we will absolutely be staying here at our next opportunity. Julie was so welcoming and friendly, Craig texted a really cool app the day before which had all the information needed! Can't wait for our next visit :) thank you so much!

A fantastic home away from home

We had the most relaxing time at Wingham Holidays Great Tregath. The hosts are very friendly, the pods spotless and the location fantastic. We will go back for sure.

More than I could ever have expected

The initial review is for Craig and Julie above anything else. I had a small accident on my motorcycle (self induced) on the way to Wigwam. I had to ride the final 20 miles with my right leg in the air due to a broken foot peg and rear brake. When I arrived at Wigwam, all deflated and worrying what to do about my broken motorcycle and getting around Cornwall for the two days that I'd be there, I thought I'd simply have to arrange to have the bike picked up and abandon the long weekend away. The first worry though was how to get milk for the tea and some food until I could get the bike fixed. I called Craig to let him know that I had arrived and they came over to see us. Julie took us to get some shopping, Craig provided some tools to get the bike into workable, but not completely fixed condition and sent a local biker, Bob, over to aid me. This kind of help from them was invaluable and allowed us to continue the holiday and even ride home. I can't thank them enough for this personal touch and will be grateful for a long time. This personal touch aside, the location is visually stunning and we were reasonably lucky with the weather. The pods are well equipped, with some nice small touches. The bed is comfy and the kitchenette does all you'd need. Overall, it was well tended, clean and filled with little notes to help and guide. I go away very impressed with Craig and Julie and even their own backstories - and happy about staying in their pods.

Amazing

We had a brilliant time, pod was clean, well equipped and owners very friendly. It was lovely to know owners were there if needed but not intrusive and I am very envious of what they get to call their home. My husband I really enjoyed a week here - which flew by!!! I would definitely recommend.

WigWOW

We loved our stay at the wigwams. Very peaceful, cosy, warm and clean. Perfect location for exploring Tintagel and surfing at Trebarwith Strands and Polzeath - we especially loved the wetsuit drying area! Loved making s'mores on the fire pit at night as well.

Very memorable stay for 3 nights

Very relaxing stay

Had a very relaxing four night stay. There is lots to do and see in the local area. Trebarwith beach is worth a visit, best when the tide is out. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. The wood fired hot tub was easy to use and great to relax in with views over the countryside. A field down the lane is handy for dog walking. Would definitely stay again.

Birthday weekend away

Shower and hot water were not consistent. The shower was either too hot or too cold, no in between. The hot water for washing up was also not great but other than that, it was amazing! Loved it.

Thank you for your comments, although we are slightly disappointed regarding the shower. We did suggest for you to use the high setting and lower water temp to ensure a good flow as the cabins are in a field some distance away from utility services. However, we did note that you actually had it on the Eco setting and then had the temp at maximum. This would restrict the water flow, thus causing it to overheat and shut down for a moment before re-heating. However, we will investigate to ensure the shower is working correctly so thank you for bringing it to our attention. The kitchen sink hot water heater had been turned down by the previous guest and we apologise for not noting that. Notwithstanding that, and despite the weather and storm 'Isha', we are delighted you had a lovely birthday weekend and hope the flowers and bubbly were both enjoyed!

Great stay

We had a great time away. Will definitely be coming back again. A field just down the road for dogs to run in too, which is always great.

Wigwam with Hot Tub

Absolutely loved our stay here. It was our first time staying in a wigwam and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Really nice to switch off from the world and get back to basics. The wigwam was so cosy and surprisingly warm, especially at night. The views of Roughtor are spectacular. The owners are so warm and welcoming, couldn't do enough for you. Great information of local amenities on site. We had smashing fish and chips from local Camelford, which is a stones throw away. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Lovely relaxed stay

We had a really lovely stay, was the first time away with our puppy, so was the ldeal place to take him. Peace and quiet, great location, didn't have to travel too far to get to anything. Julie and Craig were very lovely and welcoming, pod was clean with lovely views. The only thing we could pick up on was when exiting the site onto a busy main road, traffic approaching can not been seen clearly. This could be remedied by the hedge being cut back further as oncoming traffic cannot be spotted by low-driving vehicles. Overall we had a great chilled-out time away.

However, we are aware of the main (B) road verges adjacent to our private farm road entrance. Unfortunately, they are owned by other land owners and the Council, but we will see what can be done. Beautiful and friendly

A beautiful and peaceful location. Craig and Julie were lovely hosts, they were there to welcome us and go through the hot tub instructions, which was an amazing extra to have. The pod had everything we needed and was very clean. It was located amongst fields and we were able to watch the wildlife whilst in the hot tub. The local area has some amazing scenery and the most amazing beach at Trebarwith and would highly recommend the restaurant there, The Port William. Would definitely return.

Daughters 20th Birthday weekend

What an amazing experience. My daughter had already found this little gem earlier in the year. We were met by the owners on arrival, the pods are amazing and spotless. Beautiful location, everything thought of that you could need. It was brilliant to have the hot tub with the weather not being the best, a great location to explore Tintagel and the beautiful waterfall. Camelford was also close enough to grab a takeaway. Just a beautiful experience, I can't wait to return.

Lovely location and hosts

Gorgeous location and views! Close to attractions such as Bodmin Jail and Tintagel! Julie and Craig were very welcoming and there if we needed anything. The hot tub was very warm and easy to heat up. Overall, an absolutely incredible weekend and will definitely be booking again!
