A quick one night stop after picking up a used caravan close by. Very helpful site owner, providing plenty of guidance to find the site in the dark. Further help was provided to get the caravan into the field and out the following morning. Super friendly and most obliging! Thank you.

Paul was fantastic - jump started our car when we couldn’t get it going on our way home! Thank you so much!

I recently stayed at Stretton House Campsite. As soon as I booked, I received a text, which I thought was a thoughtful touch. I arrived in my van and I love the wildness of the place. You can choose between two fields (one is nearer the toilets). They don't have any shower facilities but the toilets were kept in a clean state. Lovely walks nearby and a good stop for me on my way to other parts of the UK.

A lovely, open space situated very handily for the motorway. A great, big, open space to play in and they have a second field of a similar size, so hard to imagine ever feeling crowded. There is a farm shop on the other side of the road which was great for BBQ essentials. The road itself is quite busy, so light sleepers may want to consider earbuds.

I was really happy with the campsite but I think £30 a night is a bit steep considering the onsite facilities. The location was good being about 5min of the M56 and if your stuck for supplies there is a decent farm shop about 3-5min walk. Paul, who managed the booking, was pleasant when I called him before arriving to ask about the need for a fire pit. He explained that I didn't need one and fires can be lit on the ground, which was great. We went to a really nice pub called The Partridge for some food, it's about 5-10min drive but well worth the trip if the weather is against you and it's not possible to get the BBQ out I think it would be beneficial if there was a park onsite for the kids.
Perfect weekend away :)
