A note from the site themselves...

Manor Farm Lakes has evolved from a small agricultural farm to what is now a fantastic day ticket fishing venue with the campsite being a valued addition. The site has been owned by the same owner for all this time and we pour all of our love and enthusiasm into what we do as we love it so much.

We have some incredible visitors, a number of whom visit us without fail every year and combining these visitors with the hundreds of regular anglers we have relationships with all that we treasure and now class as friends.

With so many people being regular visitors to the site, regardless if it is for caravanning, camping or fishing there is a friendly atmosphere with everybody wishing to help each other and enjoy such passions together. We really couldn't ask for anything better.

Due to bodies of water being close by all children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Dogs are permitted for those staying on the caravan site but they must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not allowed to be walked around the lakes but they can be walked on the nearby Biggleswade Common.

There are numerous lakes to fish from including the Match Canal and Blunham Lake which house some of the smaller residents and are fantastic match lakes, perfect for those who wish to get a bend in the rod and for those who are new to angling. Expect to find Carp, specimen bream, tench, perch, pike, roach and eels!

Damsel Lake offers a slightly more of a challenge compared to Carp and Becks Lake but the rewards for your efforts are fantastic. Damsel Lake has at least 10 Carp going over 30lb and hundreds of others, plenty which are in their high teens with the majority being between 20lb and 30lb. There is also a rather illusive Grass Carp present!

Winters Lake is only able to be fished on a 24 hour ticket but has some absolute stunners lurking in its depths! Some of the complexes biggest residents are in Winters Lake as well as Booney Lake. Affectionately known as 'Booneys' by all, this is the largest body of water on site and is predominantly naturally stocked fish from years of the River Ivel bursting its banks.

Biggleswade Town is 1.5 miles south and has some lovely shops to visit. Biggleswade Common is accessible by using the stile and bridge next to Blunham Lake and you are able to enjoy the expanse of the Common, using it to walk into Biggleswade town centre. The Common is home to all forms of wildlife but is also home to a number of cows.

Other nearby activities:

  • Shuttleworth aviation (10 minutes)
  • Cambridge (25 minutes)
