About Laurel Park Campsite

Situated just south of the Wash, Laurel Park Campsite is a small and friendly site, surrounded by miles of quiet country lanes. 3 miles north is the small market town of Long Sutton, offering a number of shops, pubs and other places to eat and drink. Laurel Park's grass pitches, all with optional electric hook-up, are a great place to set up camp, whether you have a tent, trailer-tent, caravan or motorhome. There is a communal lounge area with a pool table, sofas, a piano, communal fridges and plenty of games and books to borrow. A small on-site shop offers additional treats, essentials and gifts, and a gazebo-covered outdoor communal area provides a great place to sit and eat with friends. We also have a herd of guinea pigs for you to meet, feed and pet twice a day, every day, at no extra charge. And a small children's area, tree den and large fenced grassed area provide plenty of space for children to keep themselves occupied - without screens! Alternatively, if you're not wanting to bring your accommodation with you, you can opt to stay in either our spacious safari bell tents or in one of our luxury railway wagons - all set up for 4 people in a double bed and 2 single beds (or bunk beds). The two safari bell tents also come with an electric heater, fairy lights, a hanging rail, a chest of draws, a kettle and mugs and a covered outdoor picnic bench and prep area for al fresco dining. The two railway wagons have some added extras including crockery, cutlery, a fire pit and an outdoor sheltered picnic table. If staying in any of the glamping units, you will need to bring bedding and towels with you, as these are not supplied. Dogs are very welcome on site, but must be kept on leads at all times.

The site is open for May bank holiday weekends, May half term and between 25th July and 1st September.

A note from the site themselves...

We bought Laurel Park Campsite at the end of 2018, following a near-death experience that taught us that life is too short to not be happy in what you do. And so we decide to make a life-changing move to run a campsite.

We wanted to create a tranquil place for people to unwind and forget about their life stresses, aided by peaceful surroundings, animals and trees. We feel we have created something a bit different from the norm, that we are truly proud of, and we love seeing our guests return year after year. We look forward to welcoming you too.

Great little site. Feels quite private with the surrounding trees and pitch sections. The animals are adorable! Lovely, friendly owners that take the time to speak to you.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric)Aug 2024

This campsite is exceptional. Once we arrived we were greeted by Andy who gave us a guided tour of the campsite and made us feel very welcome. All the facilities are very well maintained especially the care of the animals. During the evening we met Emma whilst walking their dogs so we had a great chat which again made us feel very much at home. A brilliant weekend.

Small Tent - Grass Pitches (Optional Electric)Jun 2024

First time we've stayed and it was lovely. Andy and Emma were great. Greeted us as soon as we arrived. Gave us all the info we needed. During our stay they made sure we had all we needed. The pitch space was good. The donkeys were adorable and gave us a giggle. The area is so peaceful and tranquil. We will definitely come back in summer.
