About Llethrau Forest and Nature Retreats

This beautiful glamping spot is within 30 miles of charming Ludlow and other border towns, but also makes a good base for trips within the Elan Valley, exploring Snowdonia and Powys - the best of both worlds. Sleeping two (or three within one slightly larger hut), the shepherd's huts have all you need for a relaxing stay. Each has its own ensuite facilities, a comfy double bed (extra pull out bed for a child in the cowboy hut) and a well equipped kitchenette. They're all fully furnished including towels and all your bedding are provided. Two huts (Cowboy and Shanti) even have cosy log burners. All huts are dog friendly too! Stay in one of a duo of yurts, each with 24ft handmade decking and you'll be treated to comfy decorations, a spacious king-size bed, a log burner, electric heater and tables and cabinets. Dogs are welcome here too.

Llethrau Forest and Nature Retreats is open from 29/03 to 27/10.

Yurt - YurtsOct 2023

I booked this stay for my Fiancé's birthday, and 'OMG', I am so glad I did! The Yurt had everything you need to stay, and to make an enjoyable stay, lighting, the decking, the home from home luxuries (kettle, fridge, heater). The grounds the Yurts are in are absolutely stunning and picturesque, we even had a visit from a couple of barn owl's who came for a nosy :) And the night sky - OMG! John, the Groundsman/Woodsman, came to see us with a bag of Kindle for the fire, and stayed to have a interesting chat with us. Zoe, the manager, was also very helpful over the phone, explaining everything we need to know. We will definitely be making this our go to place for years to come xxx

Shepherd's Hut - Nadine Shepherd's HutDec 2022

We stayed for 2 nights in The Shanti Shepherds Hut. It was lovely and located in the middle of the forest. We had a log burner that was very cosy and warm as well as heaters as it was cold and snowy outside. It came supplied with everything you could need, even milk and coffee, sugar, with a bottle of lemonade and chocolate treats. The hut was immaculately clean and the table folded down to make a bed, which was a lot more comfortable than it looked like it would be. The hot water was perfect with clean towels ready for us. The kitchen had a microwave/ convection oven and there was a kettle and utensils etc. Overall, we had the perfect weekend away, we would definitely stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

Shepherd's Hut - Nadine Shepherd's HutJun 2022

Amazing place, with very well thought out accommodation. We stayed in Nadine's hut and loved our 3 nights there. Being able to switch of from life with zero phone signal or wifi at the hut, just BBQs and good times. Also great location for exploring that part of Wales which has plenty to offer. Would highly recommend!

Site's response
