A note from the site themselves...
We are a friendly family run business originally from South Africa and have owned Eriskay since 2018. Previously in finance and the dental profession, we have always had a love for the outdoors, camping and hosting people in our home.
We love meeting people from all around the world and enjoy exchanging memories and stories with our guests with many returning and long-lasting friendships formed. It warms our hearts to know that "our home" becomes "your home in the Scottish Highlands".
The family consists of their daughter called Chrissy, Layla the loving Pug, Stormie the laid-back Maine Coon Cat and Moya the Umbrella Cockatoo!
We truly are a unique accommodation provider and a perfect getaway for people wanting to relax in a quiet environment but still being close to all amenities, bus and train links and outdoor activities with nature and plenty of wildlife on our doorstep.

We can't thank Ken, Gill and of course all their beautiful animals enough for making our stay and my birthday so peaceful and wonderful. We have stayed in many properties, B&Bs and hotels and never have we had such a welcoming experience.
The pod was immaculately clean and they kindly baked a homemade birthday cake for me and sang happy birthday! There were delicious breakfasts in their cosy dining area, they gave awesome recommendations for things to do around Aviemore and they were kind enough to help out with dinner so last minute.
We truly have had a great experience and have already spoken about making it a yearly trip. Whether you like peace and quiet, or if you like a wee blether and a play with some animals, it's perfect as Ken and Gill are happy to do either.
10/10 from a very happy couple. Run don't walk, get booking!

Camping Pod - Ensuite Glamping PodsJan 2022
I bought this wee break for my daughter and her boyfriend for a Christmas gift, they absolutely loved it and said they can't wait to return. 😁 They both said they were made to feel very welcome and the folk were so friendly, warm and helpful. They loved the pods, so very comfortable and food was excellent.

Thanks, appreciate your comments. It was a pleasure hosting them both. Ken & Gill
