About New Lodge Farm
This adult only site is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful stay in the Northamptonshire countryside. Start your day with a delicious full English breakfast at the onsite cafe and spend the rest of your day exploring the surrounding landscapes by foot or bike. Tent campers can pitch up on one of the 16 grass 8m x 9m pitches, each with electric hook up. For caravan and motorhome tourers, there are a total 53 fully serviced 9m x 9m grass or hardstanding pitches which are served with 16 amp hook ups, water, electric and a grey waste drain. All of the pitches welcome up to four guests. If you're a fan of glamping, try one of the luxury units. There are full self contained pods, which sleep up to two adults and are fully self contained. There is a kitchenette, sofa, TV, dining area, double bed, and a modern ensuite with a loo and full sized shower. Outside you will also have your own decked terrace, easy chairs and a fire pit for relaxing in the sun or a barmy summers evening. The site also has two charming shepherd's huts, each sleeping two adults. Inside you will find a double bed, kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. You will also have the luxury of your own ensuite bathroom with full sized shower, hand-basin and toilet. Outside is a patio area with a table and chairs as well as a chiminea. The whole site runs exclusively on a biomass wood-chip boiler, providing heat for hot water and solar panels for electricity - which helps it hit the highest standards of sustainability. The site sells eco friendly logs that comply with eco requirements. Walks from your base vary, from open valleys to ancient forests. Or you can just relax on site to watch the towering Red Kites that are a daily feature. Evenings can also be spent cooking a BBQ or toasting marshmallows over the fire pit, as long as both are raised from the ground. Pets are welcome on pitches, but sorry they cannot stay in the pods.
New Lodge Farm is open from 08/03 to 26/10 in 2024 and from 07/03 to 25/10 in 2025.
