About Whitefield Forest Touring Park
This family-friendly, rural woodland site is ideal for nature lovers and perfect for families who want to enjoy the sea breeze. You can take a walk around the surrounding woodland environment and visit the squirrel hide to spot red squirrels and other wildlife. The site welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes on fully serviced hardstanding and grass pitches, all with electric hook ups. The site is also the ideal base for exploring the rest of the island, with acres of stunning national parkland and sandy beaches nearby. Four-legged friends are welcome onsite, with plenty of great dog walks nearby.

Things to do on site and in the Ryde area
Just ten minutes from the site is Ryde Beach and Appley Beach, relax on the beach and have a swim or try out the many cafes and restaurants.
If you want to see some more wildlife, the Monkey Haven - Primate Rescue Centre is just 15 minutes from the site.
Head to Compton Beach (35 minutes) at the southeast of the island for spectacular views and sunsets.
There is also a paintball centre, just adjacent to the site, if you want an adrenaline rush.
