Park Farm is situated on the beautiful Kent/East Sussex border in an idyllic setting surrounded by farmland. It's a traditional caravan and camping site with big 'choose your own' pitches, premium pre-erected tents and modern facilities. Access to the site is excellent, and even the largest caravans and motorhomes are welcome. The zip line and adventure playground will get the kiddies grinning. Campfires and pets welcome.

Can't fault this site really, everything you need on site. Wood, kindling, ice blocks. Clean showers and toilet blocked permanently while being cleaned. Very child friendly.

Great for kids

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Took my daughter, son in law and 3 grandchildren for a few nights and the children had a great time. They loved the park, in fact, we didn't see much of them as we were nice and close, so they went off on their bikes made lots of friends and we knew they were safe. Toilets and showers nice and clean, better showers in the over flow block. The shop was handy for a nice slush on a hot day but sold almost everything. All the staff really friendly and helpful. Lots of wasps 🤦‍♀️ but obviously that's not down to anyone, but we did a lot of running about to get away from them 😆 only by the pitches, not the park, could say it was part of our daily exercise! Not that it bothered us too much, we are night owls, but there were a lot of people in the field behind us that, into the early hours, were making a lot of noise and I did hear people complaining. They have rules on noise but clearly some people don't respect that. The only other tiny issue, we were on an electric pitch, all numbered, but trying to work out where exactly to place tent wasn't easy. Maybe markings on the floor would help or something to mark out where to pitch as some people took up more space than others (we were probably them). Overall, it was lovely.

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

We loved the atmospheres and relaxed, zen feeling of the site. Anything goes. Quiet at night which was good. Very clean facilities. Minimal shop products and poor taxi services. Due to size of site, another shower block and toilets would be good out near the top field. Felt safe as we knew that no one could drive in off the street after 10:00pm. No troublemakers.

Nice location but facility availability lets it down

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

The facilities are a good 5-10 minute walk from the pitch, which is not fun for anything from toilets, wash rooms, meals and shops. Fortunately, it wasn't raining, but this would be a nightmare if it was. My wife has been recovering from a sprained ankle, walking that distance to the toilet at 01:00 upset her, also carrying meal washing is not fun. Lots of kids running and screaming everywhere, not for couples or elderly.

Large Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesJul 2024

The campsite was nice enough. We liked that you could choose your own pitch. The site was very large so lots of choice on where to camp. We arrived mid week and picked a quiet area. By the weekend, the site was a lot busier and noisier! Staff were regularly on patrol and most of the noise was gone by 10pm. Facilities were nice enough but fairly basic.

Great site!

Medium Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesJun 2024

Our first time at Park Farm Camping Park and the facilities are great. A really good playground for the children, a little pop up bar and shop that you can buy ice creams and hot food. Was so nice to have the campfire in the evening. Great base for exploring Bodiam Castle, a local vineyard and not far to a little town where there is a Waitrose for any snacks or drinks you can't get on site. Would definitely come back!

Facilities great but noisy campsite

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

This campsite is in a great location for visiting Bodiam Castle. The facilities are good and were always clean. The onsite bar is a bonus albeit a little on the pricey side. There is a large children's playground which our son enjoyed. The log man would come round a few times in the evening, and meant the campfires were a great addition to the camping experience. The only complaint was that the campsite was quite noisy until late into the evening, some nights until close to midnight. So if you have a young family you might wish to consider this if you have light sleepers in the group. Overall a pleasant campsite and absolutely fine if you accept you all may not get to sleep before 10pm. We had an electric pitch and were on one of the further fields, which meant a little walk to the facilities but the paths were all kept clear.

Large Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

Great all round site. Plenty of facilities, spacious fields, lots of staff on hand, close to places to explore. We went as 2 adults and one 5 year old. Loads of kids playing, great playground area with a bar next to it for the adults. Shop/coffee shop has plenty essentials. Toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy. Really friendly, relaxed site.

My kids loved it

Great location away from local traffic. Facilities were clean, very well maintained and easy to reach. There's a river nearby which for my kids was the best entertainment.

What a wonderful experience. Set in vast beautiful surroundings. From the moment we arrived, we had a warm greeting at reception. The staff at the shop were super friendly and helpful. Great facilities, plenty of toilets and showers. A large open play area for the kids. Loved the flamingo bar with campsite cocktails. We are booking again with friends. I stayed with my 9 year old son and small dog in our campervan. We all loved it, thank you.

Medium Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesSep 2023

A good big campsite located near Bodiam with lots of space to pitch up despite being a weekend during summer holidays. Good amount facilities including shop/café, showers, washroom, icepack freezing, logs etc and all staff we met were helpful. Facilities were generally clean, although a bit old. However, for the price point, they were more than acceptable. One thing people should be aware of is the wasps, obviously this isn't the site's fault, but if you are allergic or have a phobia, you probably won't enjoy your time here as, apart from late at night with a fire on, there constantly were a few of them flying around us, even if we had no food or drinks and they were trying to get into our tent. I would say this is more of a large group/family site and maybe not the most relaxing place. It can be quite noisy and unfortunately, some other guests were not capable of following simple rules, such as music off at 10pm. Although, the site does seem to try and monitor this.

Nice and simple

Medium Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

We stayed over the August bank holiday so, inevitably, it was going to be busy, but we were amazed at just how busy. Most of the green space in the photograph was covered in tents and cars. It was like a music festival without the bands. So, it was not a place to commune with nature or listen out for birdsong. There always seemed to be children shouting, dogs barking, music playing or car alarms going off. But, amazingly, the two toilet blocks and one washing up room seemed to cope very well. There was a really friendly spirit on the site and every member of staff we spoke to went out of their way to be helpful. It must have been a really busy weekend for them, so their good humour was very impressive. We went as a family of five. If we went again, it would be more enjoyable if we went as a group of three or four families.

Good location, but so loud

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Good location, but so loud. Didn't feel safe here at all as there were so many people. Lots of people driving their cars too fast. Uneven pitches. Toilets few and far between. Wouldn't recommend for families. May be okay if there were large groups of people without kids. Playground was nice and people in shop helpful.

Large Tent - Non-Electric Grass PitchesJul 2023

We stayed on a Saturday night for our daughter's birthday. Huge site with loads of space for children to have fun. Lovely clean facilities. Unfortunately, very loud music was playing until midnight and those in the tent next to us carried on partying and shouting loudly until 2am. We were with our three young children who couldn't sleep because of the noise. A bit disappointed as it was a special birthday treat for our daughter.

Clean site
