About Orchard View Wedmore
This peaceful site is nestled just north of beautiful Glastonbury, and south of the stunning Mendip Hills. This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is filled with iconic views and plenty of walks and cycling trails to explore. Cheddar is also nearby, perfect for picking up some delicious cheese! In the one acre camping field, you'll find a total of 11 non electric grass pitches. Each is suitable for tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. The site also has 3 hardstanding and grass pitches available, coming with a 10 amp electric hook up, it is suitable for those in both tents and tourers. Tourers can also opt to park up on one of the two electric hardstanding pitches. These also come with a 10 amp electric hook up and are suitable for those with trailer tents or tourers. All of the pitches measure a spacious 6m x 9m and allow up to eight guests. With neighbouring horses and glorious countryside all around, it is an ideal spot to switch off. If you're looking for a little more luxury, a bell tent is available for keen glampers. The 5m tent comes equipped with a double bed (bedding not provided), two bedside tables, a trunk for storage, solar lighting, a sofa chair and a mirror. Set in its own orchard, you can enjoy a private stay with your own outdoor grill/fire pit too. Up to four guests are welcome but you will be required to bring extra beds and bedding. In the evening, guests can make use of the communal fire pits, with loads and coal available to purchase onsite. BBQs are also welcome as long as they are raised from the ground. Dogs are also welcome on site, and the bell tent is also pet friendly.

The stunning Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is just a ten minute drive north of the site. Discover wonderful walking trails where you will stumble across charming villages and pubs along the way.
A trip to Cheddar (15 minutes) is also a must. Venture along the Cheddar Gorge Walk Path or visit Cheddar Gorge and Caves where you can go rock climbing and caving, or even challenge yourself in their escape room.
