VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesOct 2024
Great stop, if a bit overpriced as no facilities for washing dishes. Only 1 shower and 2 toilets and also need to pay £1 to use shower after paying £27 for the night. A bit loud next to main road.
Small site on the A9/North Coast 500 route

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesOct 2024
A small site just yards off the A9/NC500, with one unisex toilet and one shower with toilet. They don't advertise the facilities, as they are not always available (freezing weather etc). Therefore, it's only suitable for campervans and motorhomes.
There were electrical hook ups in most bays, a chemical toilet disposal point, a grey water drain and drinking water points. The site was very clean and tidy, with spotlessly clean facilities. I recommended for an overnight stop.
I was a little apprehensive at the thought of staying in a business park but it was totally unfounded.
The site is easy to find and the owner is very helpful and accommodating. The site felt secure and it was quiet, with well organised spaces. Brilliant idea for welcoming campervan visitors/ tourists to the area without causing disruption and inconvenience to the local community.
Just as an extra point, the local butcher in Golspie was also very friendly and worth a visit.
