Meadow Tree Farm offers 21 acres of both woodland and grassland camping. Its beautiful location is ideal for most private events, including camping. The site is completely private, full of wildlife and just a perfect rural escape by the beautiful town of Romsey. Things to do on site and in the Romsey area
Bring your boots along, for there's much rural rambling to be done in the New Forest National Park, which is around a 10-minute drive from Meadow Tree Farm. Bike trails run through the forest too, and you can saddle up to see the wildlife from horseback at a riding centre a few minutes' drives from the site.
Other open-air activities nearby include fishing at Dandy's Ford Fishery next door to the site, teeing off at one of the golf courses within a 15-minute drive or swinging through the trees at the Go Ape! park half an hour away. Sailing lessons and boat trips can be had from Southampton or Lymington, both of which are within a 45-minute drive.
For history-infused days out, head to Salisbury or pay a visit to Romsey Abbey, Breamore House or the vintage car collection at Beaulieu, all of which are within a half an hour's drive. For animal antics, Marwell Zoo is also about half an hour away.
