Holden Farm Camping is a traditional campsite set in a stunning spacious field on a working farm in Hampshire. The site has no marked pitches, plenty of fire pits and a spotlessly clean facility block. Sit around a roaring fire, stargaze in the Dark Skies National Reserve, listen for the barn owls, watch the bats flying overhead, relax and enjoy the countryside.
About Holden Farm Camping
The most inviting element of Holden Farm is space - space for children to run around safely, space so you don't find yourself camping on top of your neighbour and space to enjoy your time, in a set up that works for you. The campsite is within the South Downs National Park, nestled amongst acres of the predominantly arable farm. The wildflower meadows and hedge boundaries have led to an abundance of native wild animals, birds and insects. Holden Farm is home to some very special free-range chickens, a few horses and plenty of sheep. Come watch the owners at work and learn about the farm. The site encourages you to explore the local area. There are four pubs within an hour's walking distance and plenty of interesting places to discover nearby that you won't even need to get in your car. The site is just seven miles from Winchester, the ancient capital of Wessex, five miles from the beautiful market town of Alresford and one mile from the stunning village of Cheriton, situated at the source of the River Itchen. The site also has a cafe serving delicious coffee, scrumptious cakes and the perfect bacon sandwich amongst other things!

There is a maximum of 6 people per pitch. The site doesn't accept large groups.
The team ask that while enjoying the campsite you think about those around you - other campers, livestock and those living on the farm. Enjoy yourself, but not if you are upsetting others.
Please do not forget that this is a working farm. Farms can be dangerous places, machinery and livestock need to be respected.
All gates must be kept closed and boundaries adhered to.
