Stock Gaylard is in the heart of Dorset and offers four private glamping sites, with exclusive living areas and facilities so groups and one couple can get together undisturbed in the midst of nature. From yurts to a glamping double decker bus and wagon, it's all handmade here and as eco-friendly as possible. With open air wood-fired baths, a bathroom in a horse box and a BBQ on the top deck of a bus - it doesn't get more unique than this!
About Stock Gaylard Yurts
This is one of the only places in Dorset that offers a truly private group glamping experience. Stock Gaylard's small, family run business aims for everything to be a little bit different and personal. Your setting is truly beautiful - with nothing else in sight apart from the charming glamping options and unlimited glorious countryside. It's just 45 minutes to an hour to reach of the Dorset Coast (depending where you go). The four sites sleep groups of two, 11, 12 and 14. The fully furnished Sawpits Wagon has its own private shower and loo a few steps away! It's perfect for two to escape it all and includes a gas hob, double bed and warm welcome for your four legged friend. This is the only option that can be hired by a couple, rather than a group. In Parsons Camp, which sleeps 11, things get really quirky with a double decker bus offering both a bed for the night and a place to sizzle up dinner on the upper deck. Your lucky friends and family will stay in the bunkhouse and shepherd's hut nearby, provided you can tear them away from the BBQ! For groups that need even more space, there are two delightful yurt camps with soft beds and chic interiors. They each have a spacious living yurt which offers an indoor cosy space for chilling out together. In fact each camp has a toilet and shower, with Brickles, Withybed and Parsons also including a fabulous bath! Plus they each have a small gas hob, gas oven, fridge and roaring campfire. Every kitchen utensil you can think of is provided! All bedding is provided but please bring your own towels and toiletries. Dogs are very welcome across the site but please don't let them sleep on the beds (which are renowned for being super comfy!)
