Just a 30 minute stroll from Lyme Regis, Hook Farm is an ideal base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Grass pitches welcome tents and tourers, with the option of an electric hook up too. For glampers, you can enjoy a stay in a charming bell tent or shepherd's hut. Onsite there is a shop, laundry room, food trucks in peak season, and a pub only a five minute walk away. Seaton and Charmouth Beach are within a 20 minute drive for days out too!

Had a very enjoyable stay with a welcome email, followed by a phone call on the day to check our ETA. A very friendly welcome and was personally directed to the plot, which was hard standing with grass for an awning or to sit out. The site was terraced and the plots were hedged giving privacy, it was incredibly quiet at night. The facilities were clean and the showers were hot. They were 20p and lasted for 4 mins. It was easy access to Lyme Regis, walking along the path by river Lym. Plenty to see and do in Lyme Regis and the surrounding area. There were lots of beautiful views, very restful. Will definitely stay again when back in the area.

A lovely place to stay. First time in my campervan, I didn't like parking so close to the hedges potentially scratching my vehicle. Also, the light in toilet block was off until very late, so it was difficult to see late after 22:00pm. The staff were very helpful, the showers were very clean and warm. Washing up facilities were good, I will come again.

Hook Farm was the hardest to find of the sites we visited on our tour. It was a little remote with narrow road access. That having been said, the walk into Lyme Regis was delightful and simple to follow. The dog loved the walk, and it takes you traffic free into the centre of town. Having to pay for a shower seemed to be a little stingy, as this site was the most expensive we stayed at. Overall though, worth staying at.

Thank you for reviewing your stay. I am not sure which way your sat nav directed you but we located just off the B3165 which is the main bus route into Lyme Regis. We always advise this route in for motorhomes. I am pleased that you enjoyed the river walk down to Lyme Regis.

Approach road very narrow for motorhomes. Best suited for campervans and tents. Welcoming staff but site is a little tired and many grass pitches unusable at the beginning of September due to saturated rainfall. Many pitches like ours (36) was lacking in any outside seating area. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Thank you for your review, we are located just off the B3165 which is the main bus route to Lyme Regis. We do close off our grass pitches in the Autumn, especially if there is heavy rain for vehicles, but guests are very welcome to put their chairs and tables on the grass areas.

A lovely campsite. Beautiful and not too spread out. Easy walk to the loos and showers. Plenty of shady trees. Just hope everyone gets better neighbours than I had.

We have just returned from our first stay in our campervan. We chose Hook Farm because of the reviews. We were not disappointed as the site was fantastic, so helpful, clean and relatively private. It really was great. The walk into Lyme Regis is very pretty. Just wish we could've used our bike to get there, just a small thing really. I would thoroughly recommend the site. Thanks for everything 🙂

Stayed two nights with my adult daughter. Our pitch for a large tent + 1 car was spacious and had trees to shade one corner. The facilities were clean and close enough to our pitch. There were free freezers available for re-freezing cold blocks plus hot water washing up. We did not use the laundry facilities. Camp staff were friendly.

A fab campsite. I had one night here while hiking a part of the South West Coast path, easy footpath off from just before Lyme Regis. Really good size pitch, staff are really helpful and friendly and have created good camping etiquette on site. The shop has a hot drink machine and is well stocked, with added pop up eating on some nights and pub down the road. Facilities were clean and showers hot. I would definitely stay again.

We loved this campsite! Great views, lovely hosts. Everything we might need in case we forgot at the on site camp shop, and a wicked pizza truck arriving for food on the Friday night - perfect. Thank you!

Only a mile and a half from Lyme Regis, very friendly. The site was clean and overlooking a lovely view, which is what we asked for. We were not too far from a very clean toilet block, which also had good facilities for washing and washing up. We did a lovely walk down to Lyme following the river, which was very cool in this heat wave. Lyme Regis was busy, even though, it never disappoints. There is a bus stop only a few metres away, but best to know which buses and where to catch them coming back up as it can get very busy. We walked both ways.

Beautiful views from the pitches, especially when it came to the sunsets! Most of us in campervans were grouped together so we had plenty to talk about with our neighbours! A perfect location and just a 40 minute stroll through woodland and beside the river into Lyme Regis. Great facilities and friendly staff. Fresh bread can be ordered from reception ready for collection next day. Guest food vans come to site mainly at weekends which sadly wasn't during our stay. Would I recommend? Yes definitely!

I loved Hook Farm as it provides the essential amenities for a fabulous camping experience near the incredible town Lyme Regis. The place is quiet and calm, full of helping and friendly folks. The customer service is outstanding there, even when I arrived at around the latest time for check-in, staff compensated me 20p for a free shower. I would highly recommend Hook Farm the next time you visit Lyme Regis if you are willing to walk a little bit to the town and enjoy camping in a safe, inclusive and friendly campsite.

A really lovely and friendly campsite. Each of their pitches seem different to each other rather than big square blocks. The staff were friendly and informative right from the start. Lyme Regis is about a 40 minute stroll along a quaint brook with the only hill being in and out of the site. From the main road it's a tight 200m up the hill but a competent driver should be ok. The site is super clean and tidy and I'd have no worries about booking again.

We booked at short notice (the night before) to make the most of a great weather forecast. The site was easy enough to find and get to (final lane a little narrow, but perfectly accessible!). Due to work and a little traffic, we were pretty close to the 6pm check in time but received a friendly call at about 5:30 to check our expected arrival. Very friendly greeting and check in. The site was pretty quiet during our stay - we had the immediate field to ourselves the first night and one other arrival the second night. Pitches were generous and flat. Location is fantastic - the local pub only a 5 minute walk and the lovely river walk into Lyme Regis is pretty flat and comfortable. We didn't need to use the shop but it looked well stocked. Shower and toilet facilities were clean and easy to access. The showers are 20p for 4 minutes. This is one of the only negatives for me; not so much the cost, but the hassle of having to ensure you have enough coins given the rarity of cash these days. I'm sure the shop has a supply if you are desperate! Also worth noting that, although their listing suggested that campfires were allowed, but we were told they are not on arrival (in fairness, the website also states they are not permitted). This wasn't a problem for us on this visit but we do sometimes camp with friends when this might have been a disappointment. Definitely recommended and we'd stay again!
