Sunsets and Marshmallows offers a luxurious glamping stay just outside the Devon village of Cheriton Bishop. A spacious paddock with three beautifully furnished safari tents for six, each positioned to maximise privacy. Sat on the very edge of the Dartmoor National Park, and just 20 minutes from Exeter, there is so much to see and do. Or, you can just sit back, relax and enjoy your own private hot tub! The whole family is welcome, dogs included.

i can't say enough wonderful things about Sunsets and Marshmallows. The safari tents are spacious, beautifully appointed, clean and super comfortable even for 6 adults. As well as the large veranda, each tent has an extremely generous outside area with a gorgeous firepit and circle of tree truck stools, perfect for marshmallow toasting (fork provided), top range gas BBQ and picnic bench for outdoor dining. The hot tub is continually hot and easy to use. The welcome pack contained high quality, local produce. The owners, Nicola and Chris, couldn't do enough for us - we felt very well looked after from the minute we booked and from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. Can't wait to go back!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights with our friends. The location was lovely, close enough drive to Exeter, but enough out of the way of everything else. Nicola and Chris were amazing hosts, welcoming us when we arrived, supplying us with some lovely bits for breakfast and we felt they had gone above and beyond with the little things (like the hot water bottles and blankets for example), definitely made me feel at home! The tent was clean and tidy, it was stocked with everything you'd need for the weekend. The weather wasn't brilliant while we were there but we were still warm enough! I would definitely visit again and it's definitely something a bit different to usual!

What a fantastic place to take the family. The owners were so helpful, the safari tent well equipped and the little extras so thoughtful. From the hot chocolate with marshmallows (which my daughter loved) to the fresh orange in the fridge when we got there. Gorgeous bread on the side. So often you get a safari tent with just the basics. This had everything and more. My eldest daughter fell in love with the hanging egg chair. The BBQ was a very nice touch as usually we need to use the fire pit but here we could have both. This was fantastic, would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely amazing stay at Sunset and Marshmallows! Safari tents had everything we could need for our weekend stay, attention to detail was excellent. Owners were super helpful with local knowledge. Would recommend and definitely book again!

What an incredible stay at Sunsets and Marshmallows. A hidden gem. We hired out a huge Safari tent for the bank holiday weekend at the start of May. Two bedrooms with full-sized beds and a 3rd bedroom with two singles, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen / diner. Mains electricity everywhere. This was the luxurious side of glamping! When we arrived, we were made to feel super welcome. Our bags were driven to our tent and the layout was explained by the friendly hosts. During our stay, we had a BBQ on an open fire (kindling and logs provided) and drank Prosecco watching the sunset in our own private hot tub. This was better than being at home! The hosts provided a myriad of sundries for our arrival from bacon, bread, butter, milk, cooking oil, tea, coffee, a bottle of Prosecco and of course marshmallows. We were given an options list before we arrived. These hosts were seasoned campers. We ventured out a couple of times to the local pubs but you really needn't have to. The stay was wonderful and ended too quickly. The check out time was relaxed and the site was dog friendly. What more could you want? I would highly recommend a stay at Sunsets and Marshmallows. Thanks folks. We'll see you again one day!

We had a fantastic time. The tent was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Our hosts, Chris and Nicola were very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay special. We all enjoyed the hot tub on frequent occasions and also loved using the firepit and barbeque as well. Our hosts provided an amazing welcome pack with all sorts of basics supplied (as well as some luxuries!) and this made catering so easy. While it was not possible to go for walks from the campsite, most beautiful walks were only a short 6 minute car journey away. I would thoroughly recommend this park.
