About Larkworthy Farm
An idyllic countryside escape set on a working sheep and beef farm, set in the West Devon countryside nestled between North Cornwall's coastline and the vast Dartmoor National Park. Enjoy peaceful countryside strolls or days of sea and sand- the choice is yours! There are just two cosy ensuite glamping pods onsite ensuring total privacy for every guest. Sleeping four with a double bed and a double sofa bed. Equipped with a TV, kettle, microwave, electric hob, toaster, fridge and crockery for any self-catering needs. The pods are heated with a dining table and chairs and TV too. The pods are set in a large garden, each with a decked area complete with chairs, great for enjoying the countryside views with your morning brew. For al fresco dining, there is also a fire pit and picnic bench set in a large garden so you can enjoy cosy nights out in the open. Ideal for couples, families or a glamping getaway with friends this site offers some pretty countryside walks, with an apple orchard and a natural lake for guests to wander around. Take the footpath from the site that leads to the local village for a pub and village shop too. For children, there is an area for games with football posts set up. Explore some of Cornwall's best beaches with Bude just 30 minutes away, or Holsworthy is ten minutes away if you wish to stay close to the site. Keen walkers must visit Dartmoor National Park to admire the wild ponies roaming free, reachable by car in half an hour. Four-legged friends are welcome with one permitted per pod the area around the pods is fenced to allow your dog to roam around freely. However, please note that due to being on a working farm dogs must be kept on a lead whilst around the site. Children must also be supervised whilst onsite. Campfires and BBQs are only permitted in the raised fire pits provided. Please note that guests will need to bring their own bedding and towels.

Things to do on site and in the Beaworthy area
For guests wanting to stay close by the farm offers some excellent trails, there is a woodland walk that guests can take direct from the site, a pretty lake to wander around or a footpath which takes you directly to the local village with a shop and country pub serving delicious food.
The site also offers free farm tours between 1st May - 31st August! Take a tour with Alistair the farmer as he guides you through the farmland in a 4x4, saying hello to all the animals on the way. Tours last approximately one hour.
If you wish to venture a bit further afield Tintagel Castle and Boscastle are both within 50 minutes by car, ideal for a day out exploring some of the quaint fisherman towns along the North Cornwall coast. The seaside town of Bude (30 minutes) offers a bustling town and a beautiful beach for all the family.
For those seeking a bit of adventure Roadford Lake (20 minutes) has lots of outdoorsy activities on offer from windsurfing, kayaking and sailing to climbing and high rope courses! Or, for nature enthusiasts and walkers Dartmoor is within a 30 minute drive and offers stunning landscapes and free-roaming wildlife.
