Stunning views

Wonderful, personal service from the owner. This is a level, lawned site with great views. It is set a bit back from the noisy, hurly burly of the coast, close to the lovely town of Barnstaple. Excellent visit, we intend to return.

Very nice camping with stunning views

Very nice site, Charles, the 'gaffer' as he calls himself, is very friendly and nothing is too much for him. Facilities are older but very clean. Pitches are very large and the view is spectacular (if you are Dutch anyway😄). Highly recommended!

Fantastic campsite

With stunning views and clean facilities, this is such a lovely campsite! We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely place, close to Barnstaple with countryside views

We needed somewhere close to Barnstaple when visiting friends and this was perfect for us. Made to feel very welcome by owner, lovely view from site, level pitches, clean facilities - what more could you want? The site is about 5-10 minutes drive from Barnstaple itself, which has beautiful countryside and beaches within easy reach. Highly recommended if you need something similar.

Lovely view

A nice campsite quite relaxing for a few days away. Really nice view to wake up to. Weather unfortunately wasn't on our side though. Not much nearby that we could find, but relaxing nonetheless.

Below the stars

Charles is a lovely host, the site is clean and quiet and the view and stars at night are amazing. It is nice and peaceful with basic amenities but everything you need and near town if needed. Been a few times, will return next year. Highly recommend this little gem.

Lovely place to stay

Lovely quiet site, well kept pitches which were quite large. No issues whilst we stayed. Site owner lovely and chatty.

Lovely, simple site with great view

We really enjoyed our stay, the site is simple, with no frills, but the showers, toilets laundry area were good and it was great to have a fridge/freezer. The only slight criticism was that the movement sensor lights in the washroom didn't always pick up the fact that someone was there, however much I waved my arms! We are going back again next week.

Fabulous location

This campsite is a gem for visiting nearby Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. The site has amazing views over the valley and is great value for money. The owner Charles is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for our stay!

Lovely friendly campsite

Lovely site, quiet and friendly. Lovely rolling countryside views. The owners were in contact earlier in day to provide details about check in which was really helpful. Would love to come back another time.
