Situated in Exmoor National Park, this almost wild campsite allows guests to escape to the countryside and experience a night under the stars. Based just outside the pretty hamlet of Martinhoe in North Devon, a stone's throw from the South West Coast Path, this quiet site is a great place to recharge with friends or family. Tents and tourers are welcome across wild grass pitches, many with stunning sea views, perfect for admiring the sunset!

This place is fantastic, amazing views, really spaced out fire logs available and very friendly owners. Also thought it was very easy to find with the directions on the welcome email. Would very much recommend!

Lovely site exactly as described. Compost toilet was fine and absolutely clean. Skylarks and meadow grasses, views, coastal path and the most space we've ever had on a campsite. Thank you.

I loved it here! If minimal facilities, beautiful views and peace and quiet is what you're looking for, then it's perfect (that's exactly what I was looking for!) Pitch was spacious and the composting loo was clean. Excellent directions provided and Katie messaged me to ensure I'd received them. Weak internet signal so messages got through, but no good for lots of screen time, which was absolutely fine with me, the sea view was much better to look at!

Idyllic place, sea views, away from it all!

What an incredible place! A beautifully looked after organic farm, we were camping in among the wild flower meadows. We loved that there was so much space, super generous plots and that you could access the footpath through the land. The lips were beautiful and well looked after. Top tip: pack wellies as the grass gets you soaking! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place! We'll be back!

Thanks Flo, what a lovely review. This is our version of no mow May - great for the pollinators! :) Later in the season we cut the grass and make hay, so it will likely be shorter for the summer hols. Hope to host you again soon!
Very nice campsite!

We were lucky that it was not crowded, we had lots of space, nice views! There is a water tap at the beginning of the field. Directions were very clear.

Thanks for the lovely review, Lindsay. We like to keep it super spaced out, so even when we are 'busy', there won't be more than 5-6 pitches per field :) hope to have you back soon.

Idyllic location. Lovely views. Peaceful. We enjoyed the 'wild' aspect and found it the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. The manager (Katie) is very friendly and efficient.

It’s a lovely place. Very handy for the Coast Path and beautiful stars if the sky is clear. Just very expensive for a place with no shower.

The campsite has a great view of the sea from the campsite, and it's not a long walk to get to the coastal path from the site. Composting toilets were really clean and well stocked and the fire pit was a great addition.

Amazing place to stay, great views from the tent and a lovely area to explore. They went above and beyond for me as my car battery died and even their parents helped, even took us to pub. So we could highly recommend this place.

Literally our favourite place in the world to camp. The views are incredible, right on the South West Coast Path. The pitches are so spacious and spread out. The compostable toilets are great, and so well looked after - not shared by too many guests. So many happy memories. We try to get a break in here every year.

It was our first camping experience, and we are happy that we choused Berry's Ground Lane Campsite. We were looking for the thoroughly wild place peaceful, remote and quiet and we did. The owners are very friendly, helpful and did their best to provide enough space to the campers to enjoy their stay without disturbing each other. A great place! Strongly recommended.
