Treglisson is a small, rural site close to the town of Hayle, the A30 and the beaches of St. Ives Bay - with the nearest beachy spot less than 10 minutes drive away. Set up your tent or tourer on a range of grass and hardstanding pitches, and start enjoying your Cornish getaway. There's even a play area for kids and an onsite shop, 'The Mine,' selling fresh baked goods. Dogs are welcome.

A fantastic welcome from the owner who was a mine of information and even offered to give us a lift to local beaches rather than us having to take our camper van down narrow lanes. We were offered our pick of available pitches and chose a nice quiet one under the trees, but close to a water tap and the shower/toilet block. The showers and washrooms were immaculately presented, with plenty of hot water, hand soaps and toilet paper. The showers had a useful changing area and plenty of hooks, meaning the clothes we were changing into remained perfectly dry. The site is quiet and pretty, with plenty of space between pitches and it has easily accessible hook ups and lighting at night. We only stayed for one night as we were viewing houses in the area, but we would have been happy to stay for more nights. If we return to the area, we would definitely book here again and happy to recommend to other users. Thanks for a lovely stay!
A tired, ageing site that needs TLC

A tired, ageing site that needs some TLC. Of the 3 ladies' toilets, only one was available for 29 pitches. One toilet was permanently locked and one had the lock removed. Although the floor was washed, it had not been swept and wet grass was left on the floor and the floor was always wet. The showers did not drain and made the whole floor wet.

Rustic, friendly site with excellent facilities. Stuart and his wife were lovely. You can buy croissants from the shop for breakfast and we needed to catch a train into St Ives on the Saturday. Stuart gave us a lift to the station and even picked us up later. Top bloke!

Small pitch area surrounded by trees. Lovely playground for children right in the middle as well as an indoor play area.

Great little campsite as a base, a bit too far to walk anywhere so bringing your own supplies is essential. A small shop on site open a few hours a day supplies the basics. Enjoyed our stay but unfortunately, we were located under some huge trees and couldn't make the most of the sunshine. Plenty of families around who had BBQ's and fire pits, all looked to have a great time.
Family friendly site.

This place is picturesque and traditionally Cornish! The staff are welcoming and attentive. There is a small play area. The site is situated near fields but is close to local amenities, such as small shops and restaurants.

A lovely campsite and the facilities are kept really clean. The campsite is in a great location to get out and about in Cornwall, we visited lots of different places up and down the coast. Hayle is a lovely place and the beaches are spectacular. Dog friendly beaches all day and just a 5 minute drive away. We had a fabulous time.

Quiet site, a little way out, so if using campervan/motorhome secondary transport, would be quite a long walk to any bus stops. As a whole, the area is stunning and the local beaches are clean and inviting. Lots of places to explore and some very nice places to eat and drink.
Beautiful, quiet site

Excellent site with plenty of trees for shade if wanted. Handy for centre of Hayle, A30 and easy access to north and south coasts. Friendly and welcoming staff. Pitches plenty large enough and facilities clean. We would use this site again.

Lovely spot, really easy to get to and then access the main roads when off to explore. Fantastic place for children as they have lots of space to play on in a really relaxed environment. Owner was fantastic when we needed to delay the arrival date due to a problem at home.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay. All facilities are clean, staff is friendly and it's close to Hayles (but maybe a little bit too close to the A30 for the noise). Our dog also loved it. Will come back!

The location is ideal for easy access to some gorgeous beaches. You will need a car as there isn’t anything (pubs, shops) in walking distance, but with transport everything is so close. The site itself is mostly peaceful, far away from road-noise. It’s small, with enough to keep young children occupied and a safe space to for them run around. The nursery next door had a few very noisy days/evenings of machinery and tree-felling, I’m not sure if that’s ongoing but there’s a lot of coming and going on the gravel drive. Maybe half of the tent pitches are on slopes, but not all - the pitches furthest from the entrance looked flatter. Lots of shade for all pitches with benches dotted around for eating in the sunshine if preferred. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, enough showers and toilets even over the busy weekend. There’s a small shop for snack-emergencies, and fresh croissants for breakfast. Site owner was friendly, available and approachable.

Lovely, small and sheltered campsite, surrounded by trees and hedges. Very friendly owners: laid back and flexible about changing pitches, and altering our stay.

Will definitely come back as we enjoyed our stay here. Ideal location for all that West Cornwall can offer. Site can be noisy with campers and families staying on site. Average standard of facilities in a pleasant setting.
