Nethercraig Holiday Park is a tranquil family-run park set in the rolling hills of the Angus Glens. The park offers a rural retreat, yet is only 4 miles from the quiet market town of Alyth. There's a wide range of accommodation for tourers and tents, plus glamping pods, glamping huts, holiday homes and luxurious lodges beside a 20-acre Woodland Walk. The site is right on The Cateran Trail, ideal for walkers.

About Nethercraig Holiday Park

The park provides a peaceful hideaway with stunning views across the countryside. Nethercraig is a beautiful, peaceful location where you can escape from hectic day-to-day life. It's located 4 miles from Alyth yet feels like it's worlds away from civilisation with the beautiful Loch of Lintrathen on hand and the River Isla running past. This large, mature park welcomes tourers, tents and glampers, with an added range of holiday homes and luxury lodges for hire and sale. The touring park has hard-standing electric pitches for tourers and vast grass areas for both electric and non-electric tent pitches. Tourers and campers are welcome to bring dogs. The luxury glamping pods provide warm dry cosy comfort to sleep 4 people, with fridge, microwave, beds and heater included. One of the cabins can accommodate a small dog. There are also a range of static caravans available for rent or hire and 2-3 bedroom lodges with all the comfort needed for a home away from home. Lodges are open plan with lounge, kitchen and dining area, plus spacious bedrooms.

Facilities include a kids play park, a football field and golf practice net. There are golf courses and fishing spots nearby. There is a toilet block, a play area and a shop selling essentials. A BBQ hut can be hired which includes all the utensils and grills so all you need to bring is food. Free WiFi is available on site.

From the park itself, enjoy 20 acres of stunning walks through the surrounds, and feel the landscape of Scotland beneath your heels. The Cateran Trail is a historic 5-6 day circuit for walkers very close to the park. There's also a football field for teams to get competitive, on site.

Just 5 minutes up the road is a tasty coffee shop, the stunning Reekie Lynn waterfall and Litrathen Loch Trout Fishing where you can easily wile away a happy afternoon.

Alyth and Strathmore Golf Courses are both 4 miles away in the village of Alyth. There are a further two Golf courses 10 minutes away in Blairgowrie and St Andrews with its world renowned golf course is under an hour away! Golf enthusiasts can enjoy discounts at the local courses, please enquire with staff.

Kirriemuir is the birthplace of Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie whose house has been turned into a museum and a 'Neverland' playpark built in his honour. If you are in Kirriemuir the Camera Obscura is well worth a visit.

Dundee with its shopping, attractions and restaurants is only a half hour drive from the park The central location of the park in Scotland also means that most of the large cities and tourist destinations can easily be reached for day trips, so Scotland really is your oyster here.
