About Waveney River Centre
Welcome to Norfolk's award-winning holiday destination, nestled in the picturesque Broads. The park is set in the beautiful surroundings of South Norfolk's Waveney Valley, with fabulous views across the Norfolk and Suffolk marshes and a wealth of onsite facilities. Caravans and motorhomes can pick from a great range of pitches. The four electric grass Heron pitches measure 6m x 8.5m, set on a gentle slope. For a marina view, opt for the hardstanding Kingfisher pitches which are 7m x 9m with electric. The fully serviced pitches come with electric, water and grey waste connection. These also measure 7m x 9m and allow plenty of room for an awning. If camping in your campervan or trailer tent, there are seven pitches in the Bittern area. Each measures 9.5m x 8m and comes with a 16 amp electric hook up. The Broads is one of Britain's magical waterways, England's largest wetland with over 125 miles of safe, scenic waterways to explore. Your stay can include a perfect blend of boating, walking and relaxing. Be sure to also enjoy a dip in the onsite swimming pool and a bite to eat at the pub. Bring your canoes and kayaks and enjoy a relaxing paddle on the river, or you can take the ferry across to Suffolk and walk alongside the river, through Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve or into the nearby town of Oulton Broad. The site also offers apartments and lodges. Up to two dogs are welcome to join you on each pitch.
Waveney River Centre is open from 25/03 to 02/11 in 2024 and from 28/03 to 02/11 in 2025.
