If you're looking for a romantic glamping getaway with a crackling campfire, jaw-dropping views and a dog-friendly attitude, look no further. Located in Kilry, twenty minutes from Blairgowrie, this peaceful site offers two wooden glamping pods for hire. Each pod is kitted out a comfortable double bed, a camp bed, a kitchenette and ensuite toilet and shower facilities. The kitchenette is complete with an electric hob, microwave and toaster, as well as pots and utensils. Bedding and towels are provided free of charge and up to two dogs per pod are permitted. Remember to pack your hiking boots as this site has direct access to the Cateran Trail and is only 20 minutes from Glen Isla and Glen Clova, marking the south-eastern edge of Scotland's famous Cairngorms National Park. Many of the nearby highland lochs offer water sports such as kayaking, wild swimming and paddle boarding, so pack swimmers and prepare for a refreshing plunge! After a day of activities, come back to your cosy oasis and relax around the campfire with a drink in hand. Guests can also expect some first-class stargazing and wildlife spotting opportunities, from owls and squirrels to beavers, otters and deer. Please not that campfires are permitted but firewood is not provided.
