A note from the site themselves...

The idea came in 2019 as we wanted to move back to Arran to be closer and on hand for Barbara's Mum and Dad. We also wanted a different pace of life so explored the idea to utilise the plot of land beside the family home, The Sheilin. Barbara's Dad had bought the plot in 1984 in order to keep his view from the house and it had been used for years as a field for the dogs to play in.

People also often wonder why we came up with the name Raven's Gully. This came from a local Corriegills resident who pointed out that 'Corriegills' (where the pods are situated) actually means Ravens Gully. We do also have a couple of Raven's that visit occasionally, you might be lucky and spot them!
