Camping Pod - Stargazer Pod with Hot TubAug 2024

We stayed in the Stargazer pod for 2 nights and it was perfect from start to finish. The location and holiday park is lovely, very well kept and spacious. When we arrived, check in was so easy - we rang the number provided in our booking confirmation and within minutes had a text with our details for the pod. As soon as we arrived at the pod, Laura came along to welcome us, she set up our hot tub and showed us how to use it. The pod itself was immaculate and was perfect for our stay. It had a TV, kettle, microwave and a fridge/freezer. There were also paper plates and bowls as well as matches and skewers for toasting marshmallows which was great! The mattresses in the pod were so comfy and the pod was very spacious, there were two of us but it would be perfect for a small group! Phillip was great and brought along our firewood and fire-starter kit after giving him a quick call, we paid for this using a link he provided which was really easy! We had a great stay between the pod, hot tub and firepit area and we will definitely book again as we had such a great experience. I had been worried about using communal showers as our pod didn't have one, but the communal showers were immaculate and were so close to the pods which was so handy and perfect for us. We also liked that the hot tubs are private and enclosed, but you are also close enough to other pods that you can have a wee chat with other guests when in the firepit area if you want to. There is also a play park which was great for kids and a cook house with a fully-equipped kitchen and tables if you aren't barbecuing your food (we barbecued our food over the firepit and it was perfect, as the grilling equipment for barbecuing was provided by the holiday park as well as pokers for adding wood to your fire). Would absolutely recommend the Stargazer pod and Barrhill holiday park as we had an amazing, peaceful stay, it was exactly what we were looking for! We also took a walk down to Barrhill which is around a 20 minute walk along the road and it was lovely. Can't wait to go back again in the near future!

Camping Pod - Astrologer Pod with Hot TubJul 2024

We had such an amazing stay in the Astrologer pod! Such a relaxing area with lovely wildlife and everything we needed for a comfortable glamping stay πŸ™πŸΌ We absolutely will be back in the Winter time for some star gazing in the hot tub πŸ₯° our little dog also had a fab time! Location was great as was easy to get to most places by car, but also there's buses running locally, which would be great if you didn't drive. Philip was so helpful and kind on site, and he was always working keeping the site looking stunning and clean.
