Myself and my partner enjoyed 3 nights in a yurt at Seatoller Farm and overall it was a lovely and much needed break away from city life for us. The location is perfect for the start of many hikes or for relaxing in beautiful scenery. The yurts come with all cutlery, pots and pans, glasses etc that you need, along with bedding and cushions. We found the double futon to be very hard on our backs, so added the mattresses from the other futons available. It's worth nothing that the yurts are very close to each other, so not the best if you did want complete privacy and also that the toilets are a 2 minute walk (no lights in the dark). The shower block is a 3/4 minute walk away, but with nice hot water, much appreciated after our hike up Scafell! Both the toilets and showers are shared with all other campers (tents and yurts). I would highly recommend pre-ordering pizzas, which are made fresh every Saturday evening, and having this by the fire at your yurt - they were delicious!

As a family of four and a dog, we found the yurt a perfect size for us. We had the best time and will definitely be returning. It was lovely to be completely off the grid with no phone signal and just enjoy each others company. The two boys (9) and (10) enjoyed playing in the lake and surrounding fields. Our yurt came equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Location is beautiful.

My son's and I had a great time, central location and the best glamping site we've stayed at. Highly recommend, it's the Lake District so be prepared for varied weather! Farm shop is a bonus! We will return :)

Stunning location. Tranquil and beautiful stream for children to play, or for grown ups to cool down. Fabulous, small campsite. Stunning scenery in a beautiful location. Spectacular get away from it all. Has a stream, where you could walk along the stony banks. Limited farm shop which sells the basics. There is also a farm shop in the next village of Rosthwaite. Keswick is a 20 minute drive away. Farm house sometimes do ice pack freezing service but not always, but they were when we stayed. Yurt provided with bedding, firewood, BBQ and BBQ briquettes and fire lighters. Drinking water taps. Cold water pan wash station and toilets. On site showers at farm block. Open top bus to Keswick was fantastic value and fun. Derwent Water boat trips can act as water taxi for Catbells walk. Buttermere fabulous for swimming. Honister Slate Mine has a great café, shop, with tours and adventures. Take UHT milk, tins of food and enjoy the ambience. There's no Wi-Fi and no mobile reception.
Wonderful holiday!

Beautiful location. Great to be offline for a few days. Swimming in nature right outside the door was brill. Yurt was perfect for the three of us and it was great that our dogs were able to stay. Had everything we needed for a reconnect with nature.

We had a great stay, the yurt was clean and all of the facilities. We were able to stay nice and warm. It was quiet, and has a great swimming spot in the crystal clear stream nearby. I would highly recommend!

This is an idyllic place to stay. Our yurt faced the river winding through the campsite, with the fells rising dramatically nearby. If you’re camping because you love nature, this is the place for you. My old doggy was in heaven. The yurt was super cute. The futons are really comfy; the bedding and linen are high quality. The simple campsite facilites were perfect for us. The wood-fired pizzas from the farm were a tasty bonus! I didn’t meet Simon in person, but communication was excellent & he was really friendly. We’d definitely come back. Thank you.
Great first glamping experience!

Stayed in one of the several yurts with our 6 month old! It was ambitious but we really enjoyed our stay! Great location for all the tourist places we wanted to visit! We were hoping to be in the field that had only 3 yurts (as shown in the pictures) as we thought this would be ideal with our young baby, but were in the field with other yurts and tents which was a little disappointing. The yurts themselves were cosy with everything we needed. We loved the sweet fairy lights in the evenings. Sharing toilet facilities with campers is always to be expected but the shower facilities on the farm were really good - and so were the hot showers!
Amazing yurts

This campsite is absolutely amazing. It is in the most beautiful setting. We stayed in one of the yurts with our two granddaughters and our dog, I would definitely recommend. The yurt had everything we needed. A wood burning stove, lots of lovely warm, comfy bedding, a stove to cook on with all the crockery, pots and pans included. Simon, the owner is a top guy! We will definitely be back!!!
