Why you'll love it at Uig Bay Campsite

About the site

This well established site has been offering rural beauty on the isle since the 1960s. There are hardstanding areas for caravans and grassed areas for tents set across 3 acres, which are either level or very gently sloping. Pitch up by the atmospheric seashore, with the added bonus of electric hook-ups for both caravans and tents, and the bay just moments from your tent flaps. You're welcome to bring your dog with you.

Open from 1 March to 31 October

The village of Uig has its own brewery, which is an easy walk from site and can provide you with both a tasty tipple and an educational tour. Or, go for something softer with a lazy afternoon in the tearoom, prepping yourself for all the superb walks the isle has to offer. A walk along the ridge at Quiraing is highly recommended.

You're so close to the ferry route in and out of Uig, how could you resist exploring further afield over to Lewis and Harris?
