A note from the site themselves...

The story of our site begins in 2017 when we first moved to Tyddyn Amlwg. Not only had we been looking for a home, but somewhere that could be a temporary retreat from the every day for our guests.

We aim to create a stay that we would enjoy ourselves, where our guests leave feeling rejuvenated and recharged. We very much believe that once you have stayed with us, you will leave with the mantra of Matilda's Field being once found but never forgotten. I hope to welcome you soon, Michael

Safari Tent - Canol y Cae Safari TentJul 2024

When we got there, Mike was waiting to greet us and show us around. The place was so much better than expected, full sized proper beds, full sized proper sofa and dining table, great size kitchen and own bathroom/shower room just behind the tent, but accessible through the back. The site was silent, no sounds except wildlife and so little light pollution the stars at night were amazing to look at. Would definitely go again.

Site's response

Thank you Steven, Glad you had a great time. hope to see you all again soon! Mike & Donna.
