Priory Mill Farm sits on the banks of the River Honddu, with the farmhouse and watermill providing a perfect backdrop to the camping meadow. Treat yourself to a campfire by the river - where you'll feel like you're stepping back in time.

Why you'll love it at Priory Mill Farm

About the site

If you enjoy camping in natural surroundings and where there is plenty of room to spread out, then Priory Mill could be the perfect place for you. In order to maintain a relaxed feeling, guest numbers are purposefully kept down, allowing the sound of the river to provide a gentle background noise for some proper relaxing. There is no unnatural, obtrusive lighting at night so, when the weather allows it, a bit of stargazing can be enjoyed. Although there is no electric hook-up on site, there is a dedicated, grassed, hardstanding area at the far end of the tent meadow where three small campervans can stay. In addition to these there is also one riverside spot for those with an extra small style campervan! In total there is space for around 20 couples or pairs of guests to stay, some spaces being allocated to members of the Camping and Caravanning Club, but with plenty of space for non members also to stay. Tracks on site are stone and not tarmac (so may seem muddy when it's very wet) and the grass is cut nice and short - but not manicured - on this relaxed site. There are no set pitches here either, it's a camp where you fancy kind of place. In order to maintain the peaceful and tranquil nature of this space, small children, groups and larger bookings are not taken at all (maximum 5 people). Dogs are welcomed (of the non-barking variety) as long as they are kept on a lead at all times .... as the hens aren't too keen on meeting them! Sorry, children under 13 years cannot stay.

The site is open between April and September.
