A note from the site themselves...

Shell island is a family run campsite that has been in the same family since 1958 which is what we think makes us the perfect choice for families of all generations.

People say the Island has a magic pull and is healing place for the soul, where you can enjoy back to basics family time round the campfire.

One of the draws to the island apart from the beaches and amazing views is our tidal causeway which cuts us off from the main land when in full flood.
