About Wowo Campsite
An ideal location for families wanting to switch off and unwind. Set on the outskirts of Sheffield Park within a ten minute walk of the Bluebell Railway, you will be well placed for exploring Sussex. With Haywards Heath and Uckfield a 15 minute drive away, and Brighton within 30 minutes too. The site is set across five main camping fields with a stream running through the middle. Located on the left from reception is Lower Brook Field, the smallest area, set away to be the most peaceful with the bottom section cordoned off for games. Middle Brook is the first on the right from reception and the nearest to the facilities, with the corner areas suitable for larger groups. Lower Moat in the central field surrounded by a moat, this field also becomes home to the 'WoWo village' in the summer months. Grassy Field offers four of the Geodomes and four on the Lotus Belle tents and is where you will find the wild spa. Each of the grass pitches welcomes both tents and small campervans. Every group is supplied with their own fire pit and a metal trivet so you can enjoy some authentic cooking and evenings cosying up under the stars. If you're looking for a little touch of luxury, the site also offers a great range of glamping. Each of the six Lotus Belle Tents sleeps up to two adults and three children with a double and the option of another small double and a single bed or three single beds. You will just need to choose which field you would prefer to be located in. For a woodland hideaway, opt for a stay in the Bluebell or Brookside shepherd's huts. Sleeping up to five, the units come with a double futon bed and a three tier bunk (for those under 6ft). You will also have electric, an ensuite loo and an equipped kitchen with a gas burner and sink. The Stepping Stones hut has more of a traditional design, suitable for up to two adults and two little ones. It includes a double pull down futon bed which you can flip away so you can use your kitchen table. The booth seating here also converts into two 4ft single beds with sheets provided, and a kitchen area and stove too. There are three sizes of yurt are on offer, sleeping either four, five or seven people. Each comes fully furnished with a wood burner to keep you toasty. You will have a proper double or king-size bed with futons and single beds for additional guests. An equipped kitchen can also be found inside for cooking up a tasty meal. Ideal for stargazing, the four geodomes offer a roof top window and panoramic front view with curtains. Sleeping up to seven, the domes come with a double bed, double sofa, bunk bed, equipped kitchen and wood burner. The Cherry Tree dome is the perfect option for those wanting to be tucked away, nestled by the stream. Clarabella the family wagon is a converted horse drawn furniture removal van that can accommodate two adults and up to three children. There is a top and bottom double bunk with a small stove for keeping warm, along with a kitchen, seating and a fold out table for dining. For something a little more traditional, the gypsy wagon is ideal. Inside you will find a double pull out futon bed, plus a single child's bunk underneath, accommodating up to three guests. The small wood burner keeps it nice and cosy, with seating and vintage decor. All of the units include outdoor seating and a fire pit with a metal grill trivet for cooking al fresco. The Lotus Belle tents and the gypsy wagon also comes with their own outdoor canvas sheltered kitchen. Here you will find a two ring gas burner, along with crockery, pots, pans, a washing up bowl, sponge and tea towel. Please note, bedding and linen are supplied for each of the main double beds in the glamping units, but guests will need to bring bedding for any extra beds required. Campers are also welcome to bring four-legged friends along for their stay, as long as they are nice and friendly. The glamping units are pet free, sorry.
The camping fields are open between the 1st of March to October 31st. Bell tents are available from May 3rd to 29th September, Grassy Geodomes from February to November and all other glamping options are open all year round.

A range of workshops (booking required) are onsite, so you are sure to be entertained. From art, bunting making and music to foraging and bushcraft, there is something for everyone. There are even sometimes silent discos in the woods for adults!
The onsite wild spa (booking required) is also a must for unwinding. Set in the forest glade, there is a sauna, steam room, warm greenhouse and cold plunge pool, along with a range of spa treatments.
The famous Bluebell Railway Sheffield Park Station is within a ten minute walk too. Take a ride on a vintage steam train as it takes you through the scenic Sussex countryside. A great way to see the area in style! There are also four pubs within a 45 minute walk.
