Only five minutes from a hotel with an excellent bar and restaurant is the Sligachan Campsite, a perfect base on the eastern side of the Isle of Skye. Pitches here are set amongst spellbinding views, as both the silhouette of the Cuillins and the shimmer of Loch Sligachan are close by. Dog friendly.
About the site
This popular site has been around since the 1980s and still delivers the same stunning and unspoiled views across the landscape. Prettily set close to a river and under the incredible sweep of the isle's mountains are hardstanding and grass pitches which both offer the option of electric hook-ups. There's plenty of space for tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes to pitch up and take it all in. Your four legged friends are also welcome onsite.
