Us and the two kids had two nights in the Lochawe camping pods. The small site was quiet and the pods had great views over the loch. The pods themselves were clean and very good for a couple of nights. The facilities were fairly basic but good enough. Close by was the Dalavich social club - very good facilities with a couple of pool tables, air hockey and table tennis - so the kids had fun. Also, the bar was friendly. Finally, a couple of minutes walk was the café, which did an excellent cooked breakfast.

What a lovely location with some lovely walks in the area. The pod was bigger than expected and perfect. We had breakfast each morning at the local café and wow, they were amazing! The café also has a little shop attached with everything you could possibly need for your stay. We didn't go in the social club for a drink, but it did look nice from the outside with a nice decking area with views of the loch. Would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely pod. Very cozy and comfortable for two. View was lovely and the site was very relaxed. The community social club was open for drinks in the evening and the local café/shop was welcoming. Nice local forest walks. The only thing we forgot was cutlery and plates/ cups, but we improvised!!

I visited with my wife and dog for 2 nights. The setting is fantastic. We had pod 1, which had an amazing view over Lochawe and the hills also face the sunrise. Inside the pod we had 2 single beds we pushed together, a fridge and kettle. The restaurant and shop were both shut when we visited mid April and it's a 50 minute drive into Oban, so be prepared for that each way. The toilets/ showers are clean, easy accessible and only 15 meters away. There are only 2 so not sure if you would have to wait a turn during the busy period when all the pods are full. I would recommend the pods and will visit again.

We booked a night here as we had a free couple of days. We are novice campers so the glamping pod was perfect for us and had everything we needed and the facilities were handy and clean. The location was the highlight. We used the communal fire pit and enjoyed a dip in Loch Awe in the morning. There was a dog friendly café less than a 5 minute walk away where we got coffees. We also managed to see more of Scotland and used the pod as a base to visit Oban and surrounding areas. We would have stayed longer if we could. The dog especially had a great time. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely, warm and well-insulated camping pods. Cosy despite the January weather. Lovely pub within a few metres and great location on the loch with a communal fire pit. Beds were really comfy too.
