Set in its own secret garden in the New Forest, Whistlestop is an adult only hand-crafted shepherd's hut, just a 15 minute stroll from Brockenhurst. Inside the hut, you will be treated to a comfy double bed and wood burner, along with a TV, WiFi and Nespresso machine. Outside there is plenty of space to unwind with sun loungers, outdoor furniture, a fire pit/BBQ, and even your own modern bathroom hut and infrared sauna. Dogs are welcome too!

The perfect way to enjoy a luxury, adults only escape in the New Forest. Surrounded by scenic walking and cycling trails, with the charming village of Brockenhurst just a 15 minute stroll away, the location is hard to beat! Sitting in its own private garden, the hut is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing hideaway. The built-in double bed is set in a charming little nook, with cotton bedding supplied for a great night's sleep. You can also get toasty by the log burner, with a hairdryer and bath robes and slippers supplied too. The hut is also kitted out with all of the mod cons to make your stay extra comfortable. WiFi, a flat screen Smart TV and a DAB Roberts radio are all provided for your entertainment. So you can make the perfect brew in the morning, there is also a mini fridge, kettle and a Nespresso machine! Just a few steps from the shepherd's hut, you will find your private ensuite bathroom hut. This includes a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, hand basin, Bramley products and a toilet. You will also be spoilt for areas to unwind outside too. Starting with the cherry on top, the infrared sauna is tucked away at the bottom of your plot. Easy to use and great for a host of wellness benefits, this unexpected treat is the perfect remedy after a day of exploring the forest. There is also a table and chairs for al fresco dining, along with sun loungers for reading your book in the warmer months. On the other side, you can find a sofa area with a BBQ and fire pit for toasting marshmallows under a starry night sky. Guests have a parking space located right outside, with the garden located next to the neighbouring B and Bs communal garden. EV charging is also available in the car park. Your hosts can also whip up a locally-sourced breakfast (if pre agreed), a great way to set you up for the day! Perfect for a car free/care free weekend away, the railway line that lies behind you can also be picked up from Brockenhurst train station, just a 15 minute walk away (do note, you may hear some train noise when onsite). Dogs can join you for your stay too, with up to one pup allowed. The garden area is fenced, but sneaky dogs may be able to escape.

Whistlestop is open from 29/06 to 20/12 in 2024 and from 03/01 to 01/06 in 2025.

The shepherd's hut has its own private bathroom hut, along with an infrared sauna and access to WiFi. Fresh, locally sourced breakfast is available as an extra. Rapid electric vehicle charging is available from the car park (a £35 surcharge is applicable per booking).

Within a 15 minute walk, there is a Tesco Express and multiple pubs including the Foresters Arms, The Snakecatcher and the Commoners. Brockenhurst train station is also within a 15 minute stroll.
