About Grange Farm

This is a small, family-run working farm and it has many unusual and friendly animals including: alpacas, pigs, goats, a pony, a horse, a water buffalo, a donkey, poultry and small pets. It's a stone's throw away from the beach where you can fish or walk your dog or even sunbathe. One of the few unspoilt and non-commercialised coastal sites with unpolluted sea air, your base will be on the IOW's beautiful coastline. It's just off Military Road - one of the UK's most scenic drives. Waiting for you are pitches that range from back to basics spots without electric up to spacious fully serviced pitches. Sea views are thrown in, of course. Not ready to fish the tent out of the attic and get it in working order? Camping pods offer an alternative to a traditional camping holiday, where you can simply turn up and your pod structure is ready for you. Each of the basic pods comes with insulation, a lockable door, electric, a window and the convenience of not having to bring your mallet or pegs. Bring everything you need for camping, aside from the tent.

Grange Farm is open from 01/03 to 31/10 in 2024 and from 28/02 to 05/11 in 2025.

A note from the site themselves...

In the early 15th Century, monks at Quarr Abbey were given a plot of coastal land to farm. This is what became to be Grange Farm. Back in 1628, King Charles I sold the land to the City of London, and has had had many owners since.

The farm now provides natural habitats for wildlife as well as facilities for our wonderful campers and holiday makers. It sits in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and a Site Of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), so they are stunning landscapes all around. We hope to welcome you soon, David

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesOct 2024

We stayed at the end of the season so it was very quiet. We could choose our own space therefore. No queueing for facilities. There was still hot food available in the evenings on site which we found helpful on one occasion. Staff were helpful in the shop and when we arrived. We had hoped to use the bus which runs along the coast road on that side of the island, but it finished on 30th September, so we had to take our motorhome out on every visit. However, we did manage ok as it turned out. Everything was very good and the only thing we might mention is that the hardstanding could be a bit wider, as we had to step out on very soggy grass. Otherwise, no issues.

Good, well placed site
