A note from the site themselves...

Our campsite has been in our family since the late 1950s. It opened in 1964 and was run by my grandparents with just a few caravans, it has now grown to over 100 pitches. I love running the campsite with my fiancé and meeting guests from all over the UK and the World.

We feel incredibly lucky to work in such a picturesque place and I'm very proud of what we've achieved. Every year we endeavour to improve things even more so guests love the campsite as much as we do.

VW-Type Campervan - Grass Covered Hardstanding Pitches (Awnings)Oct 2024

Perfect spot for a damp autumn half-term: good gravel pitches, plenty of warm water in the showers, a very well-stocked shop and a coffee/breakfast van! A very well-equipped site with such a warm, friendly welcome and beautiful views. Loads to do in local area: hikes of varying difficulty, Big Pit and Ironworks museums, mooching around little towns (Shepherd's Ice Cream in Abergavenny is 👌🏼) or just sitting round your fire pit listening to the trickling stream and watching the sunset behind the hills.

Excellent site

There was a bit of a mix-up over the booking, but it was very nice and clean. The owners were friendly and accommodating.

Such a great little site. The site is on a slope, but pitches are all level.
