You don't have to get all the way to Australia's outback to find a great holiday! Ayres Rock offers a peaceful, dog friendly break right by the beach - with all the serenity of the Isle of Sanday around you.
About the site
Pitches are not allocated, so pull up wherever you best like the view and, although the site is slightly sloping, there are blocks to help you get in place. For a faff free break, a trio of camping pods offer shelter, protection from the elements and handy extras like heating and lighting. You can pop an air bed in the car and use that inside, or if you travel light, the site can supply beds and futons. There is also a hostel on site, perfect for friends who don't want to camp. You can even hire out the entire hostel, pods and pitches and have the site all to yourself.
