About Acklam Farm Stays

Sleeping up to four guests, the cosy shepherd's hut is equipped with all the basic home comforts. Inside, you'll find a double bed with single bunk above. If required, an additional bed pulls out from underneath the double. Bedding provided but please bring your own sleeping bag and towels. With a three kilowatt log burner inside, you'll never be cold! Which, as a result, means the hut is open to the public all year round! There's no electricity, but the hut is equipped with eight battery powered remote controlled spot lights giving you more than enough light for what you need. A one ringed gas stove is also within the hut, so that guests can cook their own food or boil water. It also includes a kettle, plus all cooking utensils including pans and crockery are provided. Gas for the stove is provided, so you won't run short. A gas BBQ is available to rent. Cutlery is provided and a tea and coffee supply for those morning cuppas. If you want to wake up to a fully prepared English breakfast, be sure to head to the farm courtyard - continental breakfasts available at lower price. There is no WiFi in the shepherd's hut itself however phone signal is very good in this area so you won't struggle with finding 4G signal. Please note that the site does not have any charging points in the hut, so be sure to bring your portable charger, or charge in your car. Sleeping up to four, enjoy the superb views from this well equipped hideaway featuring double bed, single bunk and futon. Bed sheets and pillows provided but guests will need their own towels and sleeping bag. The BBQ area outside the pod is perfect for cooking, with a gas BBQ and essentials included such as crockery, pans, kettle, firelighters and more. You'll also have your own fire pit, and logs are sold onsite.
