VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Pitches (Optional Electric)Aug 2024

Pre arrival communication was very good. However, on arrival, things not so good. Our pitch was taken and the camp office was closed. Had to call the out of hours number where the lady could not find our booking. She did find us an alternative pitch within the family enclosure. The pitch itself was ok and well kept. There is only one toilet/shower block which was very dirty mid evening. Both men's and ladies' showers had grass in the showers, dental floss in the sink in the ladies'. Clearly they had not been cleaned in some time. It was even more disappointing that in the morning, they were in a worse state and clearly no signs of a cleaner. We expected them to have been cleaned! The food and service from the café was very good. the cleanliness lets it down massively.
